We, Capixaba Anarchists, inhabitants of this medieval state stamped by white men
colonizers who named our territory Espírito Santo - these same cannibals ofprofit, and of capitalism. ---- Today, 09/11/2022, our Capixaba AnarchistFederation is born - F.A.C.A. ---- This organization was born for the struggleand resistance, at sea, in the air, in factories, in the fields, on the outskirtsof cities, in the woods, in the rivers, always against mining and pollutingindustries, oil, agriculture, armaments, and everything and everyone that hurtsthe principle of good living. We will fight against capitalism, the State and itstentacles, to end the exploitation of man by man. ---- We will fight togetherside by side with indigenous peoples and quilombolas and with the exploited andoppressed for the recovery of their territories and the right to land!Our federation drinks from anti-authoritarian and libertarian sources,influencing indignation and revolt, as well as the popular struggle for betterliving conditions.Our organization arises through the Anarchist ideal with pillars based onsolidarity, mutual support, self-management and anti-capitalism, and also in thestruggle for a territory free from the shackles of the infamous global capitalistmodel.And in this context, we register that the anarchist movement here, in EspíritoSanto lands, began in the beginning of the 20th century, through workers andworkers of the iron line in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, with strikes andanarcho-syndicalist organizations. The long Brazilian dictatorships almostextinguished the movement. However, at the end of the 1970s, anarchism insistedon permeating this land with a cry against all exploitation and oppression andalso against the bourgeois monotony reigning in the territory of Espírito Santo.Behold, the capixabas put the block on the street, and among students and punksthe movement creates a new body and the need for organization emerges. It's been40 years of the most diverse actions and to this day we continue to walk theanarchist path in search of a free territory where life is valued. Throughout ourtrajectory we have carried out strikes, radio programs, fanzine productions,newspapers, booklets, poetry, visual arts, musical bands, meetings, study groups,exchanges, anarchist forums, parties, demonstrations, protest acts on the Firstof May and Sete de Setembro, campaigns for the null vote, theater groups, filmclubs, workshops, Esperanto courses, participation in indigenous brigades andstruggles for quilombola territory, urban occupations, anti-racist campaigns,confronting and combating fascism, among many other fronts of struggles that wehave waged throughout our history.All this makes us reflect and act; and today, on the 11/09/2022, within theGeneral Anarchist Forum, we started our newest organization and struggle tool,the Capixaba Anarchist Federation (F.A.C.A).
