Among the victims (four so far),there is an environmental activist who was a friend of our FACA comrades. Thisepisode is interpreted as one of the results of the growing hatred associatedwith the penetration of racist and Nazi-fascist practices into Brazilian society,which translates into daily attacks against anyone perceived as a potential "enemy".Capixaba Lands, November 27, 2022With this statement we, members of the Federação Anarquista Capixaba (FACA) wantto express our full solidarity with the families of education workers andstudents who were victims of the cowardice committed by the Nazi student whosupported on the trigger, with several hands on his fingers. Our solidarity andour feelings go out to the three teachers and the 12-year-old student who, todate, have been the victims of the deadly attack on two schools in the city ofAracruz (Espírito Santo), on Friday, November 25 .Teachers Maria da Penha de Melo Banhos, 48, and Cybelle Passos Bezerra Lara, 45,died at EEEFM (State Primary and Secondary School) Primo Bitti, where theytaught, while student Selena Sagrillo was murdered in the private school CentroEducacional Praia de Coqueiral. In addition to them, we mourn the teacher FláviaAmboss Merçon Leonardo, 38, who at the time of writing was hospitalized inserious conditions, but who unfortunately did not survive, in addition to severalothers victims who remain hospitalized and fight for their lives.For more than 30 years, we, Capixabas Punk Anarchists, have been denouncing andfighting the presence of fascist groups here in Espírito Santo through directactions. In particular, in 1992, in the town of Cariacica, these groups held aregional meeting; on this occasion, we intervened and had a physicalconfrontation with the fascists. We were also the victims of fascistorganizations, when one of our comrades ended up with a broken leg, stuffed withplatinum. Today, the State of Espírito Santo is still infested with such fascistcells. Some of the Nazi-fascists have already been detected in bankinginstitutions and in the cultural expropriation of the alternative movement, bythe presence of music groups directly linked to Nazism on the old continent.Attacks on various minority groups are a constant here in Espírito Santo, wherethey act through Nazi ideology gangs, as in the case of several motorcycle clubs,where they are found in greater numbers.
