need to be disappointed. Our battles will not be fought on the field of theballot box. The fight continues. ---- The results of the elections confirmed in anunequivocal way the total right turn of Greek society, while the opinion pollsfell out again, this time unfairly, and in fact by a lot, to the party that wonwith characteristic comfort. ---- I start with the obvious: The big andundisputed winner of the elections is the ND. It turned out from the result thathe read better than anyone the existing state of Greek society, he absorbed theentire anti-Semitic PASOK and the acrocentrists for the second consecutive fouryears, he generously fed the mainstream media ensuring the vote of the millionsof people (e.g. pensioners) who are exclusively informed by them about domesticand international developments and invested in the fear of the slave who fearslosing his chains.I will mention two things that I don't remember ever happening again in my 39years. Firstly, that the island of Crete has become completely blue and secondly,the first of the SW even in the new ages of people between 17-24! But how did weget to the point of this sweeping victory of Mitsotakis in the entire territoryexcept Rhodope? I move past the catalyst role of human stupidity living its bestdays and the absence of memory to focus a little on our daily life in the years 2023.The death of any collective project, the denial of reality, selfishness,individualism, the tendency to self-promotion, the few who take to the streets,with the exception of the mass marches after the crime of Tempe, the fear ofresponsibility and the love of inexpensive internet of criticism are not neutralphenomena. They show where the majority is moving, delimit the frame of thepolitical game, reveal which way the breeze of our time is blowing and send dailymessages. These are all behaviors that fit conservatism.The winners include PASOK, which with 12% is now only 8 points away from SYRIZA,when in 2019 it had a 23% difference. What does this mean; On the horizon is thefuture dominance of the well-known, old, tested and destructive ND-PASOK duopolythat led to the Greek bankruptcy of 2010 and will probably lead to the next one,which apparently won't be long. The KKE had the rise it seemed it would have, butwithout reaching close to the 10% that would have shaken the waters.As for my predictions, they had quite a few miscalculations: Even though I sawND's lead coming, I couldn't realize, in fact I couldn't even think, that after 4years of disastrous governance, it would manage to catch these numbers, i.e. tomaintain and increase its rate. Similarly, before the election I could not find away to predict such a rout of SYRIZA, i.e. falling below 30% despite their softopposition, unanswered own goals and lack of strategy. I fell within thepercentages of PASOK, KKE and Hellenic Solution while I briefly missed MERA 25which did not enter the Parliament.
