Saturday 24 June 2023 will be SMARZA PRIDE again! ---- Last year we started this
path, animated by a clear objective: to create a safe political and aggregativespace that can be crossed by everyone, a space in which to speak again and haveour say on the issues and problems that concern us, too often ridiculed,exploited or submerged by the patina of rainbow washing. ---- To pursue thisgoal, we have directed our efforts towards building practices based onintersectionality and self-management. ---- From these two assumptions, onSeptember 17, 2022, the first SMARZA PRIDE was born: an event without patronages,godparents and sponsors, built with our own strength, with public discussion andwithout any claim to represent anything other than ourselves.Before and after 17 September 2022, a path of political initiatives was born thatunfolded over the last few months, which consolidated ties and affinities,trying to build a queer community in which we can take care of ourselves, capableof reacting to those who continue to discriminate against us, make us invisibleor, at the most, subsume us into a system of violence and exploitation thathorrifies us.We want to reiterate that we are tired of being considered a mistake, somethingimmoral to eliminate, hide or, at best, tolerate.We will reiterate all this on June 24th, when SMARZA PRIDE will proudly paradethrough the streets of Trieste, even more indecorous, unpresentable and queerthan before!A new Pride from below, therefore, a new procession in which to recover the toooften negative spaces in this city, in which to celebrate and be together, butalso in which to start fighting again for real.Against insecurity and exploitation, to overcome the false contrast between civilrights and social rights, highlighting how gender and sexual orientationidentities become means of blackmail and economic marginalization to thedetriment of the LGBTQIA+ worker.For the (re) construction of a community that becomes a space for mutual care andlistening, in which we can be protagonists of our lives and reaffirm our freedom.https://germinalts.noblogs.org/post/2023/06/19/torna-la-smarza-pride/_________________________________________A - I N F O S N E W S S E R V I C EBy, For, and About AnarchistsSend news reports to A-infos-en mailing listA-infos-en@ainfos.ca
