in all the demonstrations and on the blockages... The libertariancommunists were fully in the movement. ---- Throughout these five monthsof fighting, the libertarian communists were there ! What was theirpolitical intervention ? In line with our revolutionary strategy, it wasa question both of playing a leading role in the social movement, and ofhaving a specific libertarian communist intervention in thedemonstrations. Since it is difficult for individuals to do both at thesame time, this means some sharing of tasks. Concretely, the most activeand union-active comrades - especially in the railway sector, logistics,National Education, industry, the territorial... - worked to stimulatestrikes and GAs, led the mobilization via the union tool . At the sametime, other more politically committed comrades ensured the specificintervention of the UCL : most often, it could have been, under the redand black flag, the distribution of leaflets and the monthly AlternativeLibertaire, sometimes a meeting fixes you with a press table along theinter-union demonstrations, or even downright processions with megaphoneanimation... In addition to the GAs of strikers - laborious, during thismovement -, the libertarian communists participated in certain " CityGAs " and other defense collectives retirements. In these pluralistspaces, we pushed for unity, tried to avoid affinity withdrawals, foughtanti-union demagogy and promoted widely appropriable modes of action, inparticular economic blockages, a necessary condition for themassification of the movement. This is how we found that UCL was presentas such on several blockades (in Brest, Fougères, Caen, on the Parisring road, etc.).Field reports and audio conferencesSeveral groups (Lyon, Nantes, Grenoble, Montreuil, Montpellier,Saint-Denis, etc.) have also organized public meetings or participatedin unitary meetings to discuss the movement, the means of extending it,and its subversive potential. Throughout this mobilization, the UCLfederation published a dozen leaflets (often with a comic strip on theback). Since the challenge was not to repeat the same truths over andover again, some insisted on the methods of struggle and the necessaryrenewal of the strike; several have made the link with other fronts ofstruggle: ecologist, anti-patriarchal (for March 8), anti-racist (forthe demonstration against the Darmanin law of March 25). UCL's federalexpression was fed by continuous feedback from the field, and by twoaudio conferences in which 20 to 25 groups took part, which allowedexchanges on the level of mobilization, the possibilities of extension,the content of our intervention. The federal secretariat coordinated thewhole thing, relying on the Labor commission and the Antipatriarchycommission. The latter had notably designed a federal campaign " Atwork, at home, 8 March feminist strike ", in connection with the UCLbrochure on the unionization of feminized sectors, which was timely topromote the vital junction between feminism and unionism.
