These hellish infernos have countless animals trapped, desperately needing rescue and care.   Right now, the animals need urgent help. It is a battle against time, and death is winning. Multitudes of helpless, innocent creatures are in deadly peril. Trapped by these infernos, they are in desperate need, awaiting rescue. Greece’s Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Minister says more than 7,400 acres (3000 hectares) of precious forest, homes to countless animals have been consumed by the flames. The fires have now reached the national park on Mount Parnitha, one of the last green areas near Athens, the Greek capital, taking a vast toll on animal lives.
