In an Augustan Italy where the massacres of migrants in the
Mediterranean continue, where millions of individuals are condemned tohunger by depriving them of means of survival income, where the highestoffices of state carry out an aberrant historical revisionism on theNazi-fascist war massacres (such as Stazzema ) and after the war (likeBologna), the problem of the Melonian police state is the anarchists andall the experiences of radical struggle. On the morning of August 8 inFlorence, after many hours of resistance, the area occupied by Corsicawas forcibly evicted, a very active experience in the city context. Inthe same hours various houses throughout Italy were searched, as well asthe headquarters of the "Goliardo Fiaschi" anarchist circle in Carraraand a printing press in Massa. Ten anarchic@ were investigated: four areunder house arrest and the other six are subject to the obligation tostay or sign. The accusations against the ten under investigation areheavy: from association with terrorism purposes, to instigation toterrorism, up to vilification of the President of the Republic. Insupport of an accusatory hypothesis that could bury the anarchiststargeted by the Genoese judiciary in jail for years, some writings thatappeared in the periodical "Bezmotivny" (Without Reason) . The meredrafting and circulation of a newspaper, emphatically defined as"clandestine", becomes the pillar of the entire repressive operation.Attacking the spread of non-compliant opinions is typical ofauthoritarian regimes.It is no coincidence that the crime of the clandestine press wasintroduced in Italy by the fascist regime to prosecute the newspapersthat denounced the Matteotti crime. It currently provides for a fine of600 euros as the maximum penalty. The will of the Public Prosecutor'sOffice, which claims to have arisen from the fight against fascism, isin perfect continuity with the legacy of historical fascism.The mere propaganda of ideas not aligned with the government isprosecuted as terrorism. It is no coincidence that the same treatment isnot reserved for the many publications that carry forward fascist,racist and denial ideas, which support and foment hatred towards themarginalized, the "different", migrants.
