In the post-globalization of the new tripolar world, where the EU is
made up of states-departments of production, the resurgentnational-populism of the new fascisms is an instrument of repressivegovernance of the proletariat, confined within the ideological rhetoricof the "Italian identity", "the 'cultural identity', 'the community ofdestiny'. ---- Attention! In Italy, the Meloni government is not therevival of nostalgic mausoleums like Almirante or the all-seasondouble-breasted suit of a Fini; we are faced not with a mythicized buthistorically immobile fascism, albeit a Gattopardesque one, "home-madewith remnants of discontent and D'Annunzio-like trimmings" (Sciascia)but, on the contrary, it is a metahistorical fascism (David Bidussa)that persists through the succession of events historical and thereforehas the ability to explain them. The New Italian Fascism ofcounter-hegemony proposes itself as a founder, proponent, transformerand innovator of a Modernity that has its roots, similarities andcitations in the revolutionary and Futurist fascism 1919-22 and then1943-45 of the corporative social economy, programmatically based on the"community of destiny": the exclusive citizenship no longer determinedby a social contract between the classes (the Constitution) but based onthe nationalism of blood and Fate, also typical of the Nazi ideology. Atthe same time, the New Fascism renders the historical Past forgetful byreplacing it with an imagined memory which is the instrument to make afascism need break into the Present, which comes from the Past, for adifferent experience of the Present, a remembering the Future which hasin itself the faculty of the possible. Identity is accompanied by the invention of Tradition, which needsexplicit religious connotations, of Destiny, of Political didactics.Italian neo-identitarianism is the offspring of that nationalism thatinvented "family history" by transforming the ancient Romans intotypical Italians. The "madeinitalyization" (Christian Raimo), is theprocess of enhancing nationalism through the tragically farcical cult ofidentity: from the Liceo del Made in Italy to the cans of Cirio peeledtomatoes, "Italian heart", founded in Turin in 1856 "already Italy whenItaly wasn't there" (the Risorgimento of the tomato ...), up to thefootball of the "Seria A, made in Italy" (this is how they will seefootball matches abroad; a 10 million television contract; Luigi DeSiervo, CEO of Serie A, June 2023). This regime propaganda-ideological imperialism is thelocal drift of the "cultural" effects of globalization, which hasreplaced the even geographical concept of "Space and Time" with that of"Place": Italy is a Place, from which to relate emotionally to the worldthrough the nation and the Italian spirit: this place is the symbol ofpower.Today is invented to produce Tomorrow by re-building a Yesterday. It isthe private Time of History, deprived of the knowledge of becoming,proper to the society of oblivion: forgetting the social memory,therefore the sense of History, causes the disappearance of theperspective of the Future making the Present incomprehensible, which alltakes place within boundaries of subjective and individual everydaylife: national and cultural identity, the everyday are the screensbehind which to observe the world. This absolute void is filled by theNew Fascism, the bearer of a corporate and political capitalism,consecutio tempore of Berluskonism. It is promissory of the presidentialrepublic, of differentiated regional autonomies, of the strengthening ofthe coercive action of the executive in the name of "stability".Counterattack. As invisible and exploited we will exist and we willresist uniformity and identity, extraneous to any submission. Promised.If this Modernity forgets History, the proletariat, in its subversiveaction, must carry out a critical examination of History to avoid themistakes it has made.
