This past week we witnessed a new advance in the fight against impunity
and the defense of human rights in our country. The candidate for vicepresident of La Libertad Avanza organized a "tribute" in the BuenosAires legislature that once again brought denialist, pro-genocidalpositions to the mass stage and revitalized the theory of the twodemons. Beyond the necessary repudiation, which was felt by human rightsorganizations, unions and other popular organizations, we believe aslightly deeper analysis is necessary to understand what thisrevitalization is about. ---- The explanation, from our point of view, must be sought in the failure of this "democratic" system that worksperfectly within the framework of the system of capitalist dominationand in that context condemns the people to living conditions that aretotally unbearable. Without a doubt, those who fought in the 70s forsocial revolution were not thinking about this bourgeois democracy. There is no way to justify the growing inflation and loss of purchasingpower, unemployment and poverty, the very poor working conditions thatthose of us at the bottom suffer today. While those at the top continueto accumulate exorbitant profits and pay the illegitimate debt to theIMF at the expense of the people's hunger. However, we should not minimize the risk that the advance of reactionaryand pro-fascist positions implies for our people. Far from thedichotomizing "cuckoo" in the rhetoric of progressivism, that "lessworse" options must be chosen to prevent this advance, we affirm thatthe effect is the shift of the entire political arc to right-wing andanti-rights possibilities. We are referring, for example, to the candidate of the nationalgovernment, Massa, today Minister of Economy, who says that "the jokethat we complain for anything, we go on strike for anything is over",and even the same one who in 2015 already proposed "removing the army tothe street." On the other hand, a candidate for president, Bullrich, whobears the political responsibility for the disappearance and death ofSantiago Maldonado, who boasts of protecting gendarmes and murderouspolice officers, and who shares the electoral coalition with the currentgovernor of Jujuy, that with arrogance and repression he advanced with aconstitutional reform that limits the rights and condemns the people. And finally, disguised as liberalism, the one who openly and openlyexpresses an extreme right position, nostalgic for the last militarydictatorship, is Javier Milei, who in his candidate for vice -VictoriaVillarruel- brings together not only a reissue of the theory of the twodemons but goes even further. Friend of the genocidaire Etchecolatz, promoter years ago of the "visits" to the prison to meet with Videla, promoter of the review of all the sentences of the genocidaires of thelast military dictatorship, close relationship with the Francoists ofVox in Spain, Villarruel It embodies the emergence into the public sceneof openly extreme right-wing sectors, something that neither Biondininor Gomez Centurión managed to achieve in recent years.Since some sectors were loading March 24 with institutionalism and anelectoral campaign. When you want to turn them into a harmless andstaged ritual. When "never again" indirectly hides the reality, where inthese 40 years the repression of protests, the easy triggering, thecriminalization of those who fight have never stopped. We warn thatimmobility, trust in the State and the logic that changes come fromabove, somehow gave rise to the advance of the right and the ultra-right.Far from those Resistance Marches of Mothers and Grandmothers in the 80sand 90s, with agitation against the repressive forces, facing theimpunity of an institutional system that tried to buy time and forgetthe recent crimes of the last dictatorship. . Far, even further, fromthose workers' demonstrations that helped mark the end of thedictatorship, or those Escraches de HIJOS in the 90s against thepardoned genocidaires. Those days of anger and rebellion taught us thatno human right can rest on the institutionality of a political andsocial system that promotes inequality and deepens it a little moreevery day. With certainty, all the achievements in terms of prosecutinggenocidal perpetrators - something considered in Latin America and inthe world -, and the recognition of the systematic regional plan, belongto the struggle and commitment of our organized people. What do we do in the face of this panorama? Can we convince the personnext to me to "vote well" to avoid the risks of this reactionaryadvance? We don't think so. Furthermore, we understand that allparticipants in the electoral game are validating its rules. And thatall those who are betting on winning voters contribute to thedemobilization of our people. They bet on the delegation of decisionsand responsibilities. It generates a climate of disengagement with thesituation that those of us below suffer on a daily basis. They lie, stating that a figure, a messiah, can change the situation in which wefind ourselves. All of this contributes to the growth of the reaction,of the right, which penetrates the fatigue of our people as the only wayout of this system of oppression.Today more than ever, we must fight against impunity. Memory fuels thecurrent struggle, with collective fights - no matter how small - in ourjobs or in the neighborhood, where oppression is suffered is where wecan exercise and find meaning in that memory. It is in the face-to-facedebate with our comrades, in organizing ourselves, in being in thestreets, that is when we become brothers with those historical deeds ofour class that fought for the end of the dictatorship. It is there thatthe repressive mechanisms still in force are revealed. That is why wedemand grassroots work, participation and daily struggle, alwayspromoting direct democracy and class independence. The exit is organizedand mobilized, with direct action, as the only possible strategy todefend our conquests and guarantee our rights. As comrade BuenaventuraDurruti said during the Spanish Revolution, "fascism is not discussed,it is destroyed." And that is done in the streets, not through socialnetworks, nor in the parliamentary debate. There are 30,000!It was state terrorism and genocide!Faced with the reactionary advance, popular struggle!https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=780043250790578&set=a.132988962162680_________________________________________A - I N F O S N E W S S E R V I C EBy, For, and About AnarchistsSend news reports to A-infos-en mailing listA-infos-en@ainfos.caSPREAD THE INFORMATION
