 50 years after the civic-military coup in the territories dominated by

the Chilean State, which gave rise to state-employer terrorism and meant
for the underage years of persecution, torture, rape and disappearance,
today we continue to resist the 'forgetting and keeping the memory of
our class alive. ---- In our bid to contest the memory, we recognize
that it is essential to make visible and not forget the process that was
woven under the partisan leadership of the Popular Unity and its project
of capitalist modernization; that process that challenged bourgeois
institutionalism and that was sustained by villagers, workers and
peasants based on organizational experiences that today we characterize
as expressions of popular power from below, self-managing and revolutionary.

Likewise, we must not overlook the response of the project of the
parliamentary left which, faced with the experiences of self-managing
power and revolutionary rupture, opted for the institutionalization of
struggles, co-optation and repression, promoting, in this way, class
conciliation. The lesson that this process leaves us is that no social
force can put itself at the service of the government framework,
therefore, it is necessary to go beyond and overflow the political
proposals that seek to dynamit popular protagonism and overturn all
institutional alignments. Today, as yesterday, we have to deal with
those projects that only strengthen and feed domination with precarious,
extractivist and repressive agendas.

Our commemoration is, then, to develop an organized social force capable
of breaking with the current historical traffic, that does not allow
itself to be tempted by institutional shortcuts and supposed quick
exits, that overcomes messianisms and pushes back the ideas and
practices promoted by the bourgeoisie, whether in its fascist, liberal
or progressive form.

Finally, from organized and social anarchism, we identify as a priority
to dispute the present and the future from an anti-state,
anti-capitalist and anti-patriarchal revolutionary project that recovers
the priceless experiences of struggle and resistance that today are
accumulated in the worthy memory of the organized village. We trust that
this path of memory, struggle and organization will bring us closer to
our emancipation.
