Indeed, the acts against racialized populations or the repression of the
social movement are not blunders of a corrupt police force but only its
raison d'être since always. It is in view of this observation that we
call for its abolition.

If criticizing the political role of the Police is necessary, it must be
accompanied by the strongest condemnation of its legalist counterpart,
Justice. This, equipped with a collection of so-called strictly
technical professionals (in reality eminently political) such as
lawyers, bailiffs, notaries, judges... with the most absurd and outdated
costumes and titles, some than the others, would like us to believe in
the fiction of the rule of law: "Justice is the same for everyone", "No
one is supposed to ignore the Law"... In short, a sort of public service
guaranteeing the social order according to which the sacrosanct "General
Interest" would be safeguarded. The reality is harsher: 3/4 of the
prisoners come from the working classes.

The State only very exceptionally locks up white-collar workers (Maurice
Papon only served 3 years in prison for the at least 4 trains of Jews he
sent to the death camps), while a prosecutor comes recently to sentence
a suburban rioter to 10 months in prison for stealing a can of RedBull.

Class justice is a reality, and it is she who pronounces very heavy
sentences today against environmental activists and against trade
unionists while she allows the worst polluting bosses on the planet to
act with impunity (glyphosates, chlordecone , plastics and fossil fuels)
and exploiters of workers. Bourgeois justice only exists to legitimize
the framework of exploitation and private property.

Thus, if we want to put an end to police oppression and judicial
repression, we must structurally destroy the State and the bourgeoisie.
Because as long as there is a state, there will be a ruling class and
therefore a militia/police to protect its interests. The fight against
police violence will be fruitless if it is not linked to class struggles
and vice versa.

Pretending that the police help reduce crime is an absurd excuse: the
multiplication of personnel supposed to combat drug trafficking has been
a blatant failure for years. Furthermore, by killing, blinding, breaking
all laws, and claiming not to be subject to them, she herself makes
herself a criminal.

The Police, like all institutions, did not fall from the sky: on the
contrary, it is a creation of the Order established to protect itself.
Generally speaking, the working class knows how to organize and protect
itself. It establishes peace not by the baton but by attacking the
sources of the problems, such as poverty and education. It tries to
prevent attacks before they take place, and to resolve conflicts through
mediation and not through repression. Moreover, several neighborhoods
like Exarchia in Athens or Christiania in Copenhagen operate without
police and are safer than the places where police are prevalent in their
neighborhood.
