It makes everything more expensive, including basic food, the governmentincreases taxes on the poor; it's hard to say if we'll have something toheat in the winter and if we'll even have enough for it. Housing costsand rents are climbing. Only our wages are not growing! As always, thecrisis affects those of us who have the least, ordinary workers,students, seniors, single mothers, small entrepreneurs. Many of us areat risk of falling into poverty, while billionaires - including thosedirectly connected to the energy and food markets - are counting recordprofits. They used the ongoing war for their speculations. You can'texpect anything from politicians, they always serve the rich. While theymerrily add up their gains, we working people hear from bosses andpoliticians that we have to "tighten our belts" again with our alreadymiserable wages. And we call that ENOUGH!It is probably clear to everyone by now whose interests and benefits thegovernment promotes, the interests of the workers have never been andnever will be. They have to protect wealthy business owners, energycompanies and bank profits. This government must fall!What to do? Let's not like it! There is a solution, but it is clear thatone demonstration is not enough. It is necessary to take to the streetsand, if necessary, proceed to an indefinite general strike. Examplesfrom abroad show that this is the only way for workers to forcegovernments to act in their favor. Protests and strikes, however, mustprimarily hurt the rich, must threaten their profits. Only then can wedirectly force the government to meet our demands or force it to resign.Elections will not help, we have to help ourselves by our own doing.Let's set up informal action groups in the workplaces, let's actcollectively in unions and "own fist" among colleagues with the aim ofgetting them to go on strike, let's prepare for a general strike! Let'sconnect, create a communication network across businesses and regions.The strike must break out uniformly, therefore it is necessary to agreeand coordinate the procedure. TIME can be a platform for creating such anetwork.If we want the government to take our righteous anger even remotelyseriously, we need to take care of it. Equally, we need to push for wageincreases in our workplaces, hospitals, schools, services, transport andindustry. This is also why we need to organize and discuss realsolutions to our problems. Looking for a systemic way out when we seethat capitalism is only beneficial for the rich. Our alternative issocial self-government, a society where people govern themselves andmanage work without politicians and bosses.
