received a very clear barrage of boos. A broadside that signifies
intolerance for the political exploitation of a situation which, of
course, the post-fascist right in government has worsened, but for which
the left bears enormous responsibility. The same left that, until a few
years ago, praised the neoliberal bullying of Matteo Renzi, destroyer of
the Workers' Statute and enemy of the unions. Maybe politicians have
short memories, but those who live on very meager salaries (when they
exist) don't forget.
If one could give a definition of the opposition forces present in
Parliament today, the right word would be "inconsistency". Committed in
recent years to managing power, often at any cost, when we really need a
clear position, we witness stammering more harmful than silence.
Superficial and often bad faith approaches. Who governed in past years?
Who structured the precarious employment, limited the right to strike,
participated in wars of aggression? We therefore find ourselves in a
situation where fascists govern by exclusion. And it's difficult to get
back on top if you continue to listen to them. Or even to follow them to
"contain the right". By dint of containing the right we ended up with
the worst of the worst and then the right won by a landslide.
Friday's Square tells us clear words, if we want to understand them. And
the clearest words were those of Dario Salvetti, of RSU GKN, now headed
towards closure. An attack that will have made some people jump at the
intolerable massacre in Gaza. Open with the international situation.
This is what those who fight for everyone's rights do. An aspect that
came from an RSU, from a basic situation. For this reason, the follow-up
to his speech also linked the events of the world with those of the GKN
and of all the crisis tables present in our country. Open tables not for
situations linked to objective difficulties, but for the dominance of
rapacious financial capitalism, of pure speculation on which even the
left is silent as if it were a natural aspect. Well, it would seem
trivial to repeat it, but IT IS NOT. And Salvetti has launched a
disruptive proposal, which clashes with the Ordo-Liberal orthodoxy: why
the state does not take charge of a healthy company. A company that
would be strategic for ecological conversion.
Internationalism, class struggle and environmentalism (which, as Chico
Mendes said, "without anti-capitalism is gardening").
