solidarity in the face of the violence and atrocities that the Pataxó
Hã-Hã Hãe people and their leaders have faced in southern Bahia. It is
unacceptable that such situations of injustice and violence continue to
be perpetrated against an original community that has lived in harmony
with their lands for generations. ---- We strongly repudiate the
application of the Temporal Framework theory, which seeks to
delegitimize the ancestral occupation of original peoples on the lands
that belong to them. We categorically demand that the demarcation of
their territories be carried out immediately, respecting the
authenticity and importance of the history and culture of their people.

It is essential to emphasize that the retaking of their territories is
an act of justice and legitimate resistance, a fight in which we
continue side by side, in solidarity and unconditional support.

We send our deepest wishes of strength and courage so that our fellow
Pataxós, the true owners of that land, continue to resist and fight for
their rights and the justice that is due to them.
