Because despite the freedom of speech in recent years, violence is still
there, in our places of life and work: sexist words, harassment, rape,
domestic violence, feminicides...

Because some of us, in addition to gender oppression, must suffer other
discrimination: racism, trans or lesbophobia; degraded living conditions
and without rights because they are undocumented or migrant...

Because the feminist fight is a class fight! Structural sexist
inequalities still dominate in the world of work: salary inequalities,
precariousness, imposed part-time work, over-representation in poorly
paid "domestic" professions... Capitalism knows how to take advantage of
the situation of oppression of women as much as it strengthens it!
It is an entire social system based on social class differences, racism,
exploitation and oppression that we must deconstruct. Our fight is
linked to that for global emancipation and the construction of an
egalitarian society!

Because March 8 is not "Women's Day" but a day of international struggle
for our rights and our dignity, initiated by the workers and feminist
movements. All over the world, millions of women will be mobilized!

Let's be numerous:
Against violence against women
For economic and social equality
For the respect of our rights and our dignity
The feminist strike: why?
At work or in the domestic sphere, we carry out tasks essential to the
functioning of society, partly in an invisible and unpaid manner. Going
on strike in all these spheres means making ourselves visible by seizing
up the machine! In recent years, the feminist strike has been the
occasion for massive street mobilizations in Spain, Switzerland, Poland,
Chile, Argentina, Mexico... In France too, let us be numerous and
massively participate in the initiatives of March 8!
