So much chatter in recent weeks about police beatings of students in
Pisa and Florence (but also in Catania) who took to the streets againstthe genocide in Palestine. A vice already repeated in the previous daysin Milan, Naples, Turin and many other places. ---- Apart from thecourageous official defense of the Minister of the Interior andgovernment officials, the respectable bourgeois expressed indignationwhen faced with the all too clear images of an armed attack by statetroops against young people helpless, armed only with passion. Those wholove democratic beatings have defined them as "exaggerated", those thatare administered without overdoing it, especially to those who deservethem. The horrified opposition commentators described them as"disproportionate", accustomed to proportions, that is to well-measured,targeted and above all deserved blows. We who in the NO MUOS fight have tasted many of them, in Niscemi, at thegates of the American military base, in Sigonella, in Catania, know wellthe "right proportions", the not exaggerated blows, the throwing of teargas canisters at eye level, the use of fire hydrants, and fortunately wedid not have to suffer the succession of pitiful and pitiful commentsfrom democrats with crocodile tears. Also because those blows weredelivered under various government colours: centre-right, centre-left, 5Star-League fried mixture, technical governments, and they all had thesame bitter taste of repression; all regularly accompanied by reports inwhich those attacked became attackers, and among the attackers, poorvictims, some even ended up in the emergency room for fake traumascaused by severe beatings. It is the philosophy of the truncheon, a direct emanation and derivationfrom the philosophy of the State, of any State, and of the government,of any government.http://sicilialibertaria.it_________________________________________A - I N F O S N E W S S E R V I C EBy, For, and About AnarchistsSend news reports to A-infos-en mailing listA-infos-en@ainfos.ca
