Anarchists know it well: the reality of a new world without laws,
without cops, without prisons, without hierarchy, will come through
education. An emancipatory education, the promise of new behaviors
allowing us to live together the values of autonomy, responsibility,
solidarity. From La Ruche to Bonaventure, anarchists were not content
with words. Today let us look, with vigilance, towards the Lycée
self-managed in Paris or the Lycée experimental de Saint-Nazaire, which
those in power would undoubtedly like to see disappear. ---- This file
gives pride of place to emancipatory pedagogies, in order to describe
what this education could be.
Let us savor what Henri Laborit says about it: "It must be able at every
moment to press itself onto life, penetrate it, incorporate itself into
it. And not just professional life, but life in general. That of the
handshake, that of the newspaper that we read in the evening when we
come home, of the family or social problem that we must resolve, that of
international relations. It shakes all values, from the most obvious to
the most questionable. She tirelessly questions everything. It pushes to
revolt against prejudices, hackneyed concepts, primary truths,
'essences', admirable certainties, morals, ethics, against words, all
words if they do not lead to writing a poem, and when it is written, to
tear up the sheet which had accepted it.» (The new grid, Editions Folio)
