From June 17 to 26, like every 2 years, the Eurosatory Show will take
place in France. This show presents itself as "the benchmark global landand air event for Defense and Security (D&S)." in other words, it is the
world's largest fair for cannon dealers, whose business - which has
always been flourishing - promises to be even more lucrative. More than
a hundred wars, massacres, killings, butcheries and even genocides are
underway all over the planet... ...not to mention the hot spots just
waiting to explode
This international supermarket of death will bring together more than
1900 exhibitors from more than 60 countries. The Israeli industrialists,
whom the organizers of the show considered normal for them to come to
promote themselves in the same way as all the other death dealers, were
ultimately asked by the French government not to come. Certainly out of
a fear that this presence would cause disturbances to public order
through heated opinion.
But this public outrage should be directed against all countries
(including France) participating in this sickening show. In particular,
the same movement that was moved by the presence of Israeli companies at
Eurosatory should mobilize forcefully against the presence of Turkish
companies, because their "products" are as inhumane as Israeli products.
Turkish military drones sowed desolation in Tigray in Ethiopia between
2020 and 2022 (800,000 deaths, described as "atrocity crimes" by the
United Nations Special Advisor on the Prevention of Genocide 1). Turkish
drones continue to destroy and kill in north-east Syria (Rojava), in
Sudan (18 million people at acute risk of famine) or are used in the
ethnic cleansing carried out by Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh. The
entire left, from the softest to the most revolutionary, who say they
support the Rojava "revolution", should demand - with the same rage as
they did against Israel - that Turkey be excluded from Eurosatory . But
now, this left is absent subscribers. Rojava could die under Turkish
arms, the activist community looks exclusively elsewhere...
And what about the 612 French exhibitors (cocorico! Would death brought
by blue, white, red weapons be sweeter)? 159 exhibitors from the United
States of America and 58 exhibitors from the People's Republic of China
- which is currently carrying out a real ethnocide against the populations
Uighurs (in Xinjiang) or even Tibetans and exercises an implacable
dictatorship over the entire Chinese population?
The Eurosatory scandal is not the presence of companies from this or
that country...
The scandal is the very existence of this show!
