northern part of the city.

alarming. The North Police Station represents a situation that has long
been part of everyday life but has never been acceptable: physical
violence, humiliation and discriminatory treatment are the order of the
day. The tragic murder of Mouhamed Lamine Dramé is a shocking example of
the prevailing police violence.

We firmly reject the increase in police forces in the northern part of
the city. The problems of the residents will not be solved by a larger
police presence, but by closing the station and fundamentally
reorienting our society. We are committed to a world in which we take
care of our own security and in which understanding and mutual care take
priority.

The planned new building of the station increases the existing violence
and oppression. We demand the closure of the northern station - not as
an isolated case, but as part of our fight against the entire system of
police and state. We are convinced that we can build a different, fairer
society in which solidarity and freedom are the focus.
