Bergoglio, wearing the mask of an anticlerical, in November even
addressed a warning to priests and religious not to limit themselves to
renting empty rooms in convents and parishes to pilgrims, but to think
of the many homeless who live in the capital. A failed appeal given that
most of these places have long since been transformed into hotels and
rooms for rent for all budgets and produce significant revenues for the
Church, to which must be added the exemptions from paying IMU and other
taxes to municipalities as a concordat gift. During the Jubilee Year,
even more so, they will be the workhorse of the Catholic assault on the
money of pilgrims, who, equipped with a special Pilgrim Card, will be
able to take advantage of the immense machine of clerical hospitality at
canteens and restaurants built in the same spaces.
The Jubilee is a great opportunity to reaffirm the centrality of the
Catholic Church in the world, a display of power and might unique in its
kind, a phenomenal war machine with which the Vatican places its stakes
against rival religions. But also, as we have reiterated, a large market
of indulgences still standing after centuries, which was the reason for
the break with the Lutherans and which still today represents a reason
for strong contrast with the Protestant world. The cancellation of sins
in exchange for the payment of sums of money is undoubtedly a gimmick
that could only be justified by the stupidity of believers. The creators
are scoundrels, and those who follow them are idiots (from the French
crétiens = Christians).
On December 26, the farce of the opening of the Holy Door in the
Rebibbia prison took place, in the presence of the Minister of Injustice
Nordio and the highest authorities, all people who are filling the
prisons and who do not have in their heads any idea of pardon or amnesty
as at least was used in the jubilees of the past. The Pope invited the
prisoners to hope, and he did so in front of jailers and politicians who
are the negation of any hope and every day increase the sentences and
worsen the conditions of detention: over 60,000 prisoners crowd the
prisons, 11,000 more than the available places. 88 suicides in the
prison population alone have just passed.
After the prison scene, we will witness the jubilee of the armed forces
and the police on February 8 and 9, the jubilee of the workers on May 1
(and of course), the jubilee of the bosses on May 4 and 5, and also the
LGBT jubilee on September 6, a hard-fought one due to the strong
opposition within the church, which managed to cancel the date several
times, but finally had to succumb. There is something for all tastes,
for all tendencies, a year in which the Italian population, in normal
times already abundantly bombarded with clerical propaganda by the
media, will be brought, hopefully, to accustomity.
But let's not despair: the 29th jubilee is already in the works, which
will coincide with the bimillenary of the death and resurrection of
Christ, in 2033. In eight years, the greatest show in the world will be
on stage, as already announced by Monsignor Fisichella. Atheists,
anticlericals, secularists, free thinkers are warned: start booking long
stays in places far from Italy, perhaps where television is not visible
and Internet is not available. They still exist and perhaps that is
where the earthly paradise is found.
