On September 22nd, the New York Anarchist Book Fair was organized in the
USA. Faísca Publicações Libertárias and the OSL were invited to
participate in a virtual roundtable discussion on the land issue in
Brazil, the genocide of indigenous peoples and the struggles to confront
this scenario. Also joining us at the roundtable was comrade Lorenzo
Kom'boa Ervin, an American anarchist writer and activist, and former
member of the Black Panther Party. On October 26th, the 3rd Anarchist
Fair of Rio de Janeiro took place, organized by Edições Tormenta and
Coletivo de Ação Revolucionária Anarquista (CARA). The fair, held at the
Centro de Cultura Social (CCS), had as its theme the 60th anniversary of
the coup that established the military dictatorship in Brazil, which was
debated at the tables throughout the day. Faísca was present with its
books and OSL materials, such as the newspaper Libera itself.
