invite you to an event organized by the Trier chapter of the Red Aid
(Rote Hilfe e.V.). It starts at 6 p.m. at the Infoladen Komplex,
Hornstraße 7, 54294 Trier. ---- There will be an interactive
presentation on the Radical Decree (Radicalenerlass). This political
instrument was introduced in the 1970s to exclude left-wing activists,
in particular, from public service. Even today, we continue to see
left-wing structures and individuals being pressured through
professional bans, disciplinary measures, and surveillance practices. We
will hear personal impressions from Luca, who experienced a similar
professional ban procedure last year. Following this, we will give a
brief presentation on the topic of repression and introduce the work of
the Red Aid.

Refreshments and snacks will be available, as well as a writing station
with postcards that can be sent to political prisoners. Admission is
free, but we welcome donations to financially support a person from
Trier affected by repression and Luca.
