profit. It is the stench of ENI, the same stench that links the
environmental destruction of Taranto to the economic and military
colonialism oppressing Palestine.

ENI is the emblem of contemporary Italian colonialism. Behind its
sustainability slogans lies an extractivist model that plunders lands,
devastates ecosystems, and finances authoritarian regimes. From the
coasts of Africa to the Mediterranean platforms, from the Niger Delta to
our city, ENI has built its power on the suffering of local populations,
environmental violence, and the accumulation of war-derived profits.

Today, while a genocide unfolds in Gaza before the eyes of the world,
ENI continues to make deals with Israel for the exploitation of gas in
the Eastern Mediterranean.

Every liter of fuel, every barrel extracted, every pipeline signed is
direct complicity with that system of oppression that links ecocide to
genocide, fossil fuels to death, industrial colonialism to climate
devastation.

Taranto knows this logic of destruction well.

For decades, the city has lived under the blackmail of survival,
breathing the toxicity of steel and oil.

The same logic that transformed Taranto into a sacrifice zone fuels, on
a global scale, the mechanisms of war and exploitation.

This is why our march will be a cry that starts here and crosses
borders, carrying a clear message: the liberation of Taranto also
involves the liberation of Palestine.

Our march has no territorial borders: it is a call open to all.
Students, workers, artists, collectives, solidarity networks, popular
communities: anyone who recognizes that the fight against pollution,
against colonial occupation, against patriarchal and capitalist violence
is a unique and indivisible struggle.

We will take to the streets with anger and care, knowing that anger is a
form of political love for life and that care is a revolutionary practice.

Let us build a front that rejects resignation, that restores dignity to
territories and breathing space to bodies.

At the end of the march, a decompression chest-pump: a popular moment of
meeting and sharing, to remember that celebration can also be part of
resistance, and that collective joy is a form of liberation.

On November 22nd, we will bring to the streets the voice of a city that
no longer accepts poison and silence.

We will denounce Italy's complicity in the ongoing genocide, the
economic and political ties between ENI and Israel, and the power
structures that continue to put profit before life.

We take to the streets because we believe that the freedom of Taranto
and that of Palestine are the same struggle: against colonialism,
against devastation, against injustice.

 From the river to the sea, from the working-class neighborhoods to the
gates of the refinery, we will bring our anger, our solidarity, and our
desire for liberation.
