Since the beginning of the corona pandemic, the government measures against the
spread of the virus can be summarized as follows: "Limit your free time - butkeep working". As if the virus was not contagious at work, in open-plan offices,in factories and in the overcrowded buses and only becomes infectious after work, university or school. While health protection is barely checked at work, thepolice harass people in their free time who were previously in open-plan officesand schools. This state corona policy inevitably results in intensive care unitsthat are reaching their limits. For decades, the health system has been cut to pieces and geared towards profitinstead of health for all. There has been a lot of applause from politicianssince the beginning of the pandemic, but nothing has improved, it has even gottenworse. The wages remain bad, the working conditions even worse and this situationcorresponds to the lack of staff. Since the beginning of the corona pandemic,109,000 people have died of COVID-19 in Germany alone. The silent triage, i.e.the selection limited by insufficient capacities, who dies and who survives, isalready taking place, because necessary operations etc. are postponed. And while Lufthansa, for example, received 9 billion euros in government fundsand the Aldi brothers alone became 5 billion euros richer, there are still nofree FFP2 masks, no free PCR tests and no area-wide air filters in schools. Atthe same time, women in particular had to and still have to pay for it whenschool and daycare are closed, because mostly they have to look after thechildren. State, capital and patriarchy simply rely on fthis.Worldwide, the number of deaths is 5 million,f with the number of unreportedcases being far higher. But the vaccine patents are still being held. And whilein the rich countries vaccinations are already being carried out for the 3rd or4th time, only a small fraction of the population is vaccinated, especially inAfrican countries. This means that in large parts of the world the virus willcontinue to rage and kill, and new mutations will arise. We are already bearing the social and economic consequences of the pandemic andthey will continue to be passed on to us (workers and unemployed) in the future. On the other hand, it only helps if we take to the streets and join forces.Systemically relevant also means that we can apply pressure. We must not leavethe criticism of the state's corona policy to the right and "lateral thinkers",which also means that we have to be back on the streets! We demand:Solidarity with the health workers. Meeting their demands. Higher wages andbetter working conditions!De-privatization of the health system!Restriction of all non-urgent and postponable work with full wages! No lockoutsand layoffs! Hygienic and safe workplaces!Safe accommodation and good medical care for everyone! Especially for refugees, homeless people and women who are affected by male violence at home!Vaccines for everyone - release the patents!Free FFP2 masks and free PCR testing for everyone!Suspension of all HartzIV sanctions, deportations and evictions in order not tobring people into additional emergencies!Come with us on January 29th on the street!https://likos.noblogs.org/2022/01/08/demo-die-krise-hat-system-am-29-01-2022/_________________________________________A - I N F O S N E W S S E R V I C EBy, For, and About AnarchistsSend news reports to A-infos-en mailing listA-infos-en@ainfos.caSPREAD THE INFORMATION
