We are against all the wars that capitalism and militarism are fighting on five
continents. Our opposition is a class opposition to war and patriarchy, and tothe State-System which pursues class hegemony with its authoritarian methods.---- A world made up of exploited and exploiters, of dominants and dominated isthe one that is strengthened by the struggles of capital in conflicts to carveout its own spaces of military and economic hegemony. On one side the power, onthe other the workers and all those who pay the costs of war and militarism withdeath, suffering and cuts in social spending and their income. ---- We are not,we will never participate in their wars, which as always are declared by the richand powerful and paid for by the workers and by those who have to work to live.Workers have no interest in participating in wars of capital, however they arerepresented and reported by the propaganda media of any of the conflicting parties. With regard to the war in Ukraine, we say that we do not side either withImperialist Russia or even with the military apparatus of NATO, equallyimperialist and whose immediate dissolution we demand as a militarist andwarmongering organization. The crisis that triggered the war in Ukraine showed the world the subordinationof European parliaments and political organizations to the dictates of NATO.We, contrary to what is advertised, fight for the borders to be opened in all thecountries involved in the conflicts to allow people who do not want to die toescape and who do not want to fight a war that is not theirs. Every woman andevery man has the right to flee from wars, from poverty, from dictatorships, fromliberticidal governments of every faith and colour. Every woman and every man hasthe right to free movement, to build a better and more just life for themselves. In these times of war, we express particular solidarity with all deserters andthose who rebel against militarism and military spending, in war zones and in thecountries in which we live. In Europe, borders must be opened above all to them, and we want our networks of solidarity in support of desertion to be respected.Workers do not need wars, class internationalism is once again the antidote tomilitarism and nationalism. For this we support the solidarity campaign launched by the AntimilitaristAssembly of Reggio Emilia, a concrete solidarity with the war-affected Ukrainianpopulations and with the groups that on both sides of the front supportobjection, desertion from both armies and freedom of expatriation from theborders of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. We particularly support the campaign forhumanitarian aid and for the opening of borders and the right to refuge and workabroad, currently denied for the male population of enlistment age by Ukrainianmartial law, promoted by the Kharkiv Assembly group and various realitiesinternational libertarians and anti-militarists.SOLIDARITY TO DESERTORS, OPENING OF ALL BORDERS112th Council of Delegates for the Libertarian Alternative/FdcaCremona, 4/12/2022http://alternativalibertaria.fdca.it/wpAL/blog/2022/12/15/diserzione/_________________________________________A - I N F O S N E W S S E R V I C EBy, For, and About AnarchistsSend news reports to A-infos-en mailing listA-infos-en@ainfos.ca
