Also this year we will witness the tricolor kermesse which is nothing but the
umpteenth patriotic and nationalist demonstration. An event endorsed by all, withthe exception of the libertarian and internationalist components who have alwaysdenounced these events that are useful only for spreading militaristic andauthoritarian cultures, preparatory to supporting all ongoing wars, despite thehundreds of thousands of dead. These cultures belong to both the right and theleft, both to the pseudo-alternatives and to the pentastellati, who in theirgovernment experiences have increased military spending five times. But latelythey are largely shared by the pacifist movement which has unfortunatelyabandoned its "integral pacifism" slipping into an ambiguous drift. ----Especially in this phase where there are many conflicts, starting with theRussian-Ukrainian one, there can be no ambiguity in the face of the warmongeringattitude of the Italian governments which, it should be remembered, have beensending troops to the theaters for at least twenty years of war around the world.Even today, the tricolor flies in over 40 military missions, most of them inAfrica, often to protect ENI's mining interests.
