The governments of Western countries ensure that, with the victory over Russia,
prices will fall and the dangers of war in Europe will vanish. In reality,
military victory for NATO is not possible. Beyond the clichés about Napoleon and
Hitler, about General Winter and so on, the fact remains that NATO needs a
militarily strong Russia to keep Central Asia under control. When Putin's troops
intervened in Kazakhstan to repress the popular rebellion, causing thousands of
deaths and to defend the interests of the gas and oil multinationals, no Western
government made a fuss in denouncing the massacres, the violation of national
independence and democratic freedoms. Without Russian troops, Central Asia could

that have not complied with the sanctions desired by NATO.

opponents of the war. Unfortunately there are those who follow the conflict with
the soul of a fan, and believe that the victory of one or the other contender
favors the forces of social transformation. The anarchist movement is convinced
that war itself worsens the conditions of social transformation, giving life to a
military apparatus, the foundation and last bulwark of governments, which does
not exist in times of peace; the enlistment of large masses of people causes
these people to get used to discipline and obedience, forgetting those rebellious
attitudes that could have animated them in civilian life; finally, war absorbs
and destroys resources, destroying the very material foundations that had allowed
the oppressed masses to improve their living conditions and to glimpse the

Italian government in the continuation of the war, demanding the immediate
withdrawal of the troops stationed in Eastern Europe, the end of arms supplies
and financing to the warring parties, the blocking of increases in military
