In response to their protest actions over the past few months, last-generation
activists' homes were searched nationwide yesterday. In addition, the group'swebsite was shut down by the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office. Thebackground is the accusation of forming or supporting a criminal organization.Reference is made here to paragraph 129, which repeatedly serves to criminalizeleft-wing movements and groups. ---- The house searches are taking place in asocial climate in which threats and open violence against the protesters arebecoming more and more accepted. Despite all the criticism of the analyses, thestrategy and the forms of action of the last generation, it is now important, asa climate movement and revolutionary movement, to stand together against allcriminalization and all repression and to become aware of the role that the statehas in the fight against the climate crisis and for occupies a livable world. Asthe guarantor of the capitalist and environmentally destructive status quo, thestate can never be a tool for far-reaching changes or the addressee of climatepolicy demands, but rather stands in direct opposition to the climate movementand other progressive movements. This was also shown most recently with theeviction of Lützerath in January, after which court cases are still taking placeagainst the activists involved.
