On 17.8. the Dortmund Anarchist Group is organizing a lecture on sex
work together with Madonna e.V. from Bochum. First, Sonja Volz fromMadonna e.V. will briefly talk about the legal framework of sex work inGermany. Here, for example, the questions will be: What are restrictedareas? How is the work permit regulated? And which social law applies?---- The next section is designed by Madame Simone and Sarah Mewes, bothpracticing sex workers and members of the professional associationerotic and sexual services e.V.. Here the topics of work practice,everyday reality and the question of how legal framework apply in theeveryday life of sex workers. We also want to look at whatdiscrimination sex workers are exposed to in the rest of their lives,e.g. when looking for a flat or a job. Finally, the factors thatinfluence very different realities in sex work are considered.After the presentations there will be a moderated discussion.The room opens at 5:45 p.m. and the event begins at 6:15 p.m. and isscheduled to last approximately 2-3 hours. The content is free, there isno food, but cold and warm drinks can be bought on site. You can alsoconsume food and drinks you have brought with you.
