By targeting such diverse groups, the government claims to target all
violence. The asymmetry, however, is striking when we see who is being
attacked and why: fascists can demonstrate a thousand times over their
ability to beat up those who do not fit with their reactionary vision of
society before being threatened by the State. On the other hand, the
denunciation of Islamophobia is quickly assimilated to dangerous
separatism, and opposition to large, useless projects becomes an act of
terrorism.

If these dissolutions were to be confirmed, we are not fooled by the
consequences that the government will give them. In Lille and Lyon,
fascist groups continued their activities despite successive
dissolutions, which the police cannot ignore. Faced with the fascists,
only direct, on-the-ground struggle, in the streets, in our places of
work or life, will really allow us to defend ourselves and push them back.

Let us have no doubt that the Earth Uprisings or the CRI will not
benefit from the same clemency as the fascists. Faced with these
attacks, UCL reaffirms its solidarity. We will continue to fight against
racism and discrimination, against major projects that destroy the
environment and prolong the infernal capitalist machine, against
fascism, and against this government which rolls out the red carpet for it.

We are calling for a rally this Friday before the Council of State. Let
us unite our social camp against repression!
