Towards Disability Pride and beyond... all ableism_ The event was born
in Boston in 1990 to claim the pride of people with disabilities, in thefootsteps of the LGBTQIA+ movement, against all discrimination andspread, landing in Sicily in 2015 with Carmelo Comisi in Ragusa andprovince, then in Palermo, on a permanent basis, at the CantieriCulturali della Zisa in 2016, to then parade in Naples in 2017 and inthe center of Rome until 2021 with various international twinnings withNew York and Brighton and with Dakar, the Senegal project he left fromGenoa.
