We provide a translation of the declaration , whichFAKB fully supports and appeal to all anti-militarist organizations andindividuals to join the initiative of the IAF.The Public Relations Committee of the International of AnarchistFederations met in Athens on 4-5 November 2023 to discuss and sharethoughts and practices of our federations.We are currently particularly active in anti-militarism activities, in aperiod characterized by the intensification of wars, the most famous ofwhich are the conflicts in Gaza, Ukraine and Sudan, but we should notforget that the problem is global.War is never a solution, but a way for capitalism and the state tomaintain various forms of domination, exploitation, patriarchy andoppression. War is an escalation of the violence of power and hierarchy.While many people debate war crimes, we say that war is always a crime.All wars are against the people and use arguments like nationalism,pitting oppressed people against each other, trying to create anillusion of common interests of all classes to subvert social conflictsthrough military propaganda.We anarchists oppose all borders, states, armies and the very principleof territorial sovereignty. We apply our ideas of internationalsolidarity by actively supporting all victims of wars and all those whorefuse to fight from all countries: opponents of war, deserters,saboteurs and people fleeing wars.
