 Solidarity with the repressed! ---- We invite you to a solidarity picket

in front of the Court in Krosno Odrzanskie. Let us demand justice for
those repressed for participating in the demonstration that took place
on February 12, 2022. ---- The protesters expressed their opposition to
the violation of human rights in closed centers for migrants. The
detainees in the center in Krosno Odrzanskie were ending their hunger
strike at the time, demanding an improvement in the conditions in which
they were being held. The demonstrators demanded a halt to deportations,
the liquidation of closed and guarded centers for refugees, and an end
to the criminalization of migration.
Unfortunately, the peaceful protest was broken up by the police using
brutal force and tear gas. One of the protesters was injured in the head
after being hit with a police baton. 10 people were detained and wrongly
accused of assaulting the officers.
The final hearing in this case will be held on January 15, 2025.
This is a decisive moment when we must show that we do not accept
injustice and repression against those who fight for human rights.
