 Last week, the platform's Black-Red Summer Camp took place, an inspiring

and powerful week full of exchange, education, and lived solidarity.
Various anarchist initiative groups and international sister
organizations were invited, enriching the camp with diverse perspectives
and valuable contributions. The weather was mostly kind to us: except
for one rainy day, we were able to enjoy sunny hours at the beautiful
and relaxing camp location. The atmosphere was characterized by mutual
respect, openness, and a sense of togetherness. The camp was packed with
exciting input, lectures, and discussions. Topics such as anti-fascism,
neighborhood unions, militarization and the war in Ukraine,
revolutionary workplace work and opposition in the German Trade Union
Confederation (DGB), the history of syndicalism, anarchist perspectives
on sex work, and Kurdish analyses of the current situation of the PKK
were on the agenda. The input was profound, challenging, and motivating;
it provided us with many new impulses and stimulated further thought.
In addition to the theory, there was also plenty of fun: Through table
football tournaments, group games, and other recreational activities, we
were able to get to know each other better and grow together as a
movement. The camp was entirely self-organized: from providing food to
reproductive work, everyone pitched in and took on responsibility. This
collective action was not only practically necessary, but also
politically lived practice.
For a week, we explored what a world of solidarity and domination could
look like. With full hearts, alert minds, and strengthened spirits, we
look back gratefully on our time together and are motivated to move
forward. The camp organizers would like to thank all participants and
speakers and look forward to repeating this special opportunity next year!
