Following the wave of arrests that took place last year and in recent months in the Val 
Susa, alas announced 2013 as a year to stand trial for the No-TAV. More than 80 people are 
now deprived of their liberty, either on probation, under house arrest or in prison, and 
accused of heavy loads. Trial-river for all defendants began in early January. --- On 
February, the prosecutor, to ward off charges of solidarity they could find in the Susa 
Valley, decided to transfer the trial in Turin, in the room called the "bunker". This 
room, located in the prison of Turin Valletta, was first opened for judging armed 
formations (Red Brigades, Prima Linea, ...) and has been used for major lawsuit against 
the Mafia in the 90s. Remained unused for a long time, it was re-opened for trials related 
to strength No-TAV in 2005.

As said a public statement of the accused in the first day of the trial: "The decision to
move the trial in this room bunker is in line with the latest crackdown, supported and 
legitimized by a media campaign aimed at demonizing NO TAV movement, trying to weaken and
isolate the struggles across the country. '

Report of the fifth hearing of the "trial" of 53 NO-TAV
Turin, room bunker prison "La Valette", February 14, 2013


As we decided, a small delegation "of defendant (s)" is entered today in the courtroom. 
From the entrance, some new features are introduced clearly in response to the collective
action of the previous hearing. The defendant (s) come before and after the "public." Once 
inside, it was not immediately sit on the benches, because "the president gave the order 
to enter only when one is called" . In the courtroom are located thirty riflemen. They 
want us to enter (e) the time, however we are able to get everyone together when he 
finished the call (an operation that lasted more than half an hour). Before the start of 
the meeting, a TV cameraman asked the court to start the call of the accused, and the 
president agreed.
however, given our refusal was not. There was a very strong presence of lawyers on one 
side and the other, perhaps because the point of law at stake today was the "constitution
of the civil parties." Against us are, in addition to 180 cops companies devastation 
(primarily RTF), all possible unions and organizations like the police, the carabinieri, 
customs representation to the Council Presidency same time as the ministries of defense, 
interior, and economics and finance. All these different bodies require a mountain of 
money (two million euros). As one lawyer, the trial is likely to ignore the character

The defense lawyers have noted that the constitution of the plaintiffs has deficiencies in

joined by prosecutors, so that eventually the court decides to end the "civil parties" in
the constitution of the next hearing scheduled for March 8 at 9:30 am, still in the "bunker".

a message for all prisoners, especially peers and Sergio Alfredo who are on hunger strike

No Tav movement has called a mass demonstration Saturday, March 23 at Susa (14h, Piazza 
d'Armi) to reaffirm its opposition to Tav Lyon - Turin.

A struggle for 20 years by the people of Val Susa to become a national and international 
fight against this unnecessary, expensive and environmentally destructive. Despite the 
repression (trial, imprisonment ...) media disinformation of the mainstream media (La 
Stampa, La Repubblica, etc.). Resistance and struggle always has the agenda, with many 
demonstrations, occupations, rallies, meetings, camping, despite the repression carried
