The anarchist revue, Existence started to come in January 1998, released 14 numbers, then
we have this publishing project mothball. After eight years of existence we have awakened
from hibernation and began to publish it regularly as a quarterly, since the anarchist
movement lacked journal of the format. It would be another eight years and we still
believe that even in the time of mass expansion of the Internet and the popularity of
social networks has the printed medium for our movement sense. We confess that we have
failed to rozdistribuovat enough pieces of each number, but also those of several dozen
readers who show anarchist ideas and look at things from an anarchist perspective of
interest to us is worth it. ---- We refuse access to the "demands of the times" when
everything is clamped to social networks (much to the delight cops, marketing manipulators
and dezinformátoru) emphasis on the visual aspect and "information" are in the form of
superficial jednovetých tweets.
Maybe we're behind the times. But we are anarchists and do not like to let you impose
something, especially when shall we have serious doubts. Our focus therefore remains on
the print media, on the depth of anti-authoritarian analysis, questioning and asking
questions, searching for answers and inspiration - to the text. To make this our attitude
stressed, we decided on the existence of avoiding visual accompaniment, which in the past
represented editing photos, drawings, posters, envelopes, etc. publications. Previously,
we placed particular emphasis on the text originated, and to some extent inconsistent
unit. He suffered from the text, which is in our magazine a lot, so we decided to get rid
of images and instead enlarge the text and improve its readability. Thanks to this was an
unusual arrangement, which also differs from most print media.
But now to the main topic number. If you are not that lucky narrow circle that their work
meets have it fully under control, as well as its results, while it does not command
anybody and destroys disobey orders, they will very likely appeal. Another condition is
that you are not among those who made a virtue of their own toil, bending backs before the
chiefs and humble execution of orders, among those who have devoted their lives conquered
their work, and even at that they are proud and hate those who have their masochistic
enthusiasm not shared . So if you did not accept their ideology for work, which mainly
serves those who benefit from it, but they like it, abandoning the working majority, then
the "myth of the work" will be the theme for you.
You can see the numbers for a description of the ten dogmas of work in the era of
neoliberalism from the Spanish CNT unions or description of management development work in
the last quarter of the 20th century by Ludwig Unruh. Familiar with the impact
neoliberalizace to academia, where the notion of casualization found another of its
meanings. Visualize what lies behind "uberizace" look at the work of anarchist platform
CrimethInc workshops and practice of slave labor in the US prison complex. In the text of
Michal Trcka looking for work in its historical transformations, and finally get a room
classics: George Woodcock contemplates komodifikovaným time as the instrument of
subjugation of man and Bertrand Russell explains in an essay from 1935, why is it
necessary to reject the drudgery and work ethic. As anarchists, we therefore request and
refusal of work as we know it. It does not mean that they perhaps afraid of work, but we
want to work freely, we want to create things and values its own discretion and in their
own way, in favor of us and our surroundings.
In the section devoted to the history of anarchism we will visit the postwar East Germany
in the article Vadim Damier and Stanley Maron before us spread the history of Jewish
communes - kibbutzim in Palestine. We head to a conference autonomous enterprises and
among the Indians defending their water resources over the greed of oil businessmen. The
Anarchist Black Cross section we present an overview of assistance to prisoners from the
pen Alexei Gaskarova, who himself went through prison in Russia. In addition, we meet with
a case of Azerbaijani anarchists sentenced to high penalties for painting the monument to
the dictator. In reviews, we recommend two books devoted to the occupation of Palestine
and of course there is a quarterly survey of public anti-authoritarian movement activities
and texts of the last three numbers of wall papers A3 , dedicated to the elections, the
protection of nature and unemployment.
We wish you inspiring reading.

In support of Richard and the BDS 57 collective (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) against
Israeli colonialism. Gathering on 2 February from 12:30 in front of the High Court of
Metz. ---- On Thursday, February 2, 2017, the president of the collective BDS 57 will
appear again before the High Court of Metz, the accuser being the Israeli pharmaceutical
company TEVA. This appearance follows the postponement requested by the prosecutor of the
republic on 24 January, when about a hundred supporters gathered. ---- In February 2015,
the BDS 57 collective was acting as part of an international campaign to encourage
pharmacists not to market TEVA generics but to replace them with the same generics from
other brands. ---- The BDS 57 collective firmly rejects the false accusation of
discrimination against him. The objective of our organization is to alert the public and
healthcare professionals about the complicity of crime represented by the Israeli
apartheid companies and the victims of the Palestinians. The BDS France campaign informs
consumers in a non-violent manner. We are fighting by raising awareness of colonialism,
racism and war so that in Israel / Palestine a lasting and just peace can be established.
This offensive against militants is an integral part of the state of emergency and social
regression that prevails in our country: prohibition of demonstration and repression
during COP21, forced labor law, criminalization of trade unions, violent and judicial
repression of trade unionists and Demonstrators, etc.
The collective BDS 57 calls you to come to support us even more in front of the court of
Metz on Thursday February 2 from 12:30. Let us mobilize for the defense of freedom of
expression and to tell those who accuse us that they will never silence our solidarity
with the Palestinian people by trying to criminalize militant and citizen actions.
The BDS 57 collective invites all the organizations that support it to distribute a press
release or to disseminate this call.
Let us affirm our right to boycott, France remaining the only country to prohibit the
practice when it targets the policy of Israel ...
Let us demand the repeal in France of repressive measures unworthy of a democracy,
measures which undermine freedom of expression and are aimed at all forms of political,
trade union or merely citizen demands!
Let us support our unjustly charged comrade!
Relax for Richard, president of BDS 57, militant of the Palestinian cause and member of
the French Jewish Union for Peace! "

Several thousand people took part in todays annual Bloody Sunday March for Justice in
Derry marking the 45th anniversary which made its way from the Creggan to Bogside along
the original route of the initial Civil Rights demonstration in 1972 at which 14 unarmed
innocent civilians were murdered by British Paratroopers. Each year Human rights, social
justice and prisoner support groups made up the bulk of the commemoration and in keeping
with its non-party political policy this years main speaker was Sheila Coleman of the
Hillsborough Justice Campaign. Several campaigns took place of prominence on today's march
to highlight their ongoing struggle for justice which included the Tony Taylor campaign,
local republican currently interned by the British State as well as Abortion Rights
campaigns North and South of the border. Workers Solidarity Movement in Derry were joined
by anarchists from Belfast, Dublin and beyond. Thanks to everyone who attended this
important event, those who introduced themselves, and everyone who travelled to show their

A short timeline of the events ---- A few days before the winter holidays, 21 out of the
23 workers working on the Brown production line started a wildcat strike by which they
were demanding to receive the bonusses that were promised to all the factory workers. At
the beginning of the strike, the employer (by way of the human resources department
personnel and the higher staff of the workers) asked the striking workers to leave the
facility of the factory. During the strike the women workers received threats, being told
that they were going to face the consequences of their actions by being fired. ---- Call
for international solidarity! ---- We have found out from the women workers that took part
in the wildcat strike at the end of the last year that the factory's management in the
town of Jucu, Cluj county, keep on forcing their employees to sign resignations as a
penalty for their action.
A short timeline of the events
A few days before the winter holidays, 21 out of the 23 workers working on the Brown
production line started a wildcat strike by which they were demanding to receive the
bonusses that were promised to all the factory workers. At the beginning of the strike,
the employer (by way of the human resources department personnel and the higher staff of
the workers) asked the striking workers to leave the facility of the factory. During the
strike the women workers received threats, being told that they were going to face the
consequences of their actions by being fired.
Activity in the Jucu facility was halted during the entire winter holiday season. After
1st of January, the women workers returned to work, only to find out that they have been
redistributed on different lines and shifts so that they could no longer communicate
between them. Basically, the employer (by way of his representatives) tried to break apart
the workers group that expressed their disapproval regarding those inequities.
On the 17th of January, 5 of the workers that took part in the strike were called, one at
a time, to discuss with the representatives of the human resources department and other
upper administrative staff. So, at the end of a talk in which the workers felt
intimidated, each was offered to sign a document. That document could not be read since
its content was deliberately covered using the hand by the person that proposed the
signing, and the content was not presented in a spoken manner neither. Only after they
signed these documents were the workers informed that they were no longer employees of the
company.
Afterwards, another worker "filled its resignation" (actually was constrained to do so) in
the same manner that doesn't respect the workers dignity, neither their freedom to choose
if they desire to resign or not - which is a fundamental right protected by the labor code
and the individual work contracts.
On the 19th of January, our community sent a letter to the management of the De'Longhi
company asking them to stop these abusive tactics, but we didn't receive any answer.
Moreover, Wednesday, the 25th of January, two more workers found themselves in the
position to be forced to quit against their own will.
Considering all of the things that happened, we think that this is a good oportunity to
ask the employers directy to stop deploying tactics which hurt the dignity of their
workers, and more important, to stop forcing them to quit their jobs. These kind of
tactics are undoubtedly illegal, abusive, and immoral, and the signers of this letter will
continue to offer their solidairty with the factory workers persecuted by the company.
To offer your solidarity with the workers, you can ask the management of De'Longhi Romania
to treat their employees fairly, to satisfy all their demands, and to stop immediately
with their abusive tactics, at the following e-mail adress and fax number:

Revolutionary Anarchist prisoner and Anarchist Meydan Newspaper writer Umut Firat
Süvariogullari has ended his hunger strike action that he started on December 11, 2016,
against the conditions of State Of Emergency (SOE) he was exposed in Izmir Yenisakran T
Type Prison number 4, where he was "transferred for exile", being forced with 20 people to
stay in 14 person cells and sleep on torn beds with blood, against continued pshycological
pressure, torture and unrecognition of his revolutionary anarchist political identity, on
its 55. day. ---- Prison administration took a back step as a result of Umut Firat's
determined struggle and they changed his cell as per the demands of our comrade. Comrade
Umut Firat communicated through his family, that he ended his hunger strike when his
demands were met and his health condition is fine.
The victory that comrade Umut Firat won on the 55th day of his hunger strike against the
practices that create a SOE inside SOE in prisons , is a response to state institutions
that want to take advantage of the arbitrariness and flexibility of the SOE process. The
victory is also a victory in the name of all prisoners who are exposed to similar
practives in the SOE process.
Umut Firat's struggle that he carried out with determination, were supported with
solidarity actions in the geography that we live in and in other parts of the world;
trying to add voices to his voice. We salute all revolutionary organizations that didn't
leave him alone and everyone who showed solidarity during the hunger strike action of
comrade Umut Firat Süvariogullari.

About 50 protesters, most wearing black and covering their faces, gathered at Gene Leahy
Mall on Saturday before marching through the Old Market yelling "No Trump, no KKK, no
Fascist USA!" ---- The rally, organized by the groups La Alianza, Antifa Nebraska and
Nebraska Left Coalition, was to show resistance against President Donald Trump's
immigration and refugee policies. The protesters described themselves as anarchists. ----
The protest stayed mostly peaceful, dispersing shortly after a passer-by walked through
the protesters and allegedly pushed one of them. More than 20 Omaha police officers moved
in to separate the passer-by and the protesters. ---- No arrests were made. ---- Earlier,
a driver in a passing car threw a cup of coffee at the group. ---- Wearing all black and
concealing their faces are tactics called "black bloc," meant to give the protesters
anonymity. The tactic has been around for decades but has made headlines recently as
black-clad groups in other cities have provoked police and started fires at otherwise
peaceful protests of Trump's election and inauguration.
On Wednesday, protesters in black broke windows and set fires at the University of
California Berkeley, to protest a planned speech by conservative Breitbart writer Milo
Yiannopoulos at the campus. The speech was called off.
Many people have misconceptions about groups that align with anarchistic ideas, said one
protester, who declined to give his name.
"We want to be peaceful - we aren't here to smash windows or hurt anyone," he said. "But
we will promote militant self-defense for ourselves and our communities."
The rally was monitored by police officers, several on horseback or on bicycles. When a
police helicopter circled the area and an armored vehicle drove by, the protesters waved.
As the protesters arrived at the Old Market, Lisa Melton - who said she disagrees with
their tactics - confronted them.
"This is disruptive and inappropriate," she said, complaining about the profanities in the
chants and on many of the protesters' signs. "There's a right way to do this, and this
isn't it."
For Nick Koehler, 17, participating was his way to protest a president he wasn't old
enough to vote against. He plans to go into politics, but said he wants his voice heard now.
"This is about fighting for our right to disagree," he said. "I'm really happy to see
people that aren't willing to sit back and take it. We are making progress by showing up
and doing this."

being a woman? ---- Violence against women takes place in the private sphere, at work, in

On Wednesday the 1st of February there was a solidarity vigil for Umut Firat in Dublin,
Ireland. Anarchists and supporters of Umut's hunger strike gather outside the Turkish
Embassy. Turkish embassy staff came out to mock the protesters. Embassy staff called the
police to have get the protesters to remove a banner that was tied to the fence of the
embassy. The banner said FREE UMUT FIRAT! SOLIDARITY FROM IRELAND. The police stayed on
till the vigil was over. ---- Umut has been on hunger strike for 53 days now. He has been
locked up in prison for the last 23 years. He is on hunger strike because of the state of
emergency the Turkish state has imposed since the attempted coup d'etat in July, and
against the harsh prison conditions imposed by the state because it.
Since the state of emergency Umut, as well as all political prisoners held in Turkey, have
had prison conditions seriously worsened. Some have been put into isolation, others have
been forced into cramped cells, there are forced strip searches, visiting times have been
reduced and some prisoners not allowed visits at all.
These tactics are not new. States across the world have used these same tactics to try
undermine struggles, to break the morale and spirits of prisoners fighting against prison
regimes. We know these tactics only too well in Ireland. We need to give support and
solidarity with Umut and all the prisoners in Turkey. Now is a vital time in their
struggle, a lot is hinging on Umut's hunger strike. If it is successful prison conditions
will soften and become more relaxed than what they are now.
"As a human, Revolutionary Anarchist, Conscientious/ Total Objector, an individual who has
been spending 23 years in a lit cell under the darkness of a dungeon, I see all entities
of capitalist, statist, nationalist, fundamentalist, sectarian and patriarchal power

this, before and after, to emphasize that new forms of struggle and social opposition has
been organized, and to reflect my own political, moral and conscientious attitude." - Umut

Nausea ... this is all that can inspire the condemnation of Bagui and Youssouf Traoré on
December 14th. Two brothers whose only crime is to refuse to bend the spine. Who are
fighting for the truth about the assassination of their brother. It is the class and
racist nature of the French state that reveals this police and judicial scandal. ---- A
new unjust condemnation is added to the long list of the repression of the victims of
police violence orchestrated by the State and the French justice. Bagui and Youssouf
Traoré were sentenced on Wednesday, 14 December, the first to eight months in prison and
the ban on travel to Beaumont-sur-Oise for two years, where his family lives, and the
second to a prison sentence with Reprieve. They will also have to compensate the "victim"
police officers.
This trial and its result are an example of the class spirit which prevails in French
justice: immediate imprisonment, botched investigation, doubt swept at the hearing ...
Those who oppose police crimes do not have in France the same Rights that the rich
fraudsters, the tax evaders and the corrupt ones. They do not have the same rights as
police officers who abduct, beat or murder a young man while in custody or in a meadow in
Sivens.
The only mistake of the brothers Traore is to have asked for justice and truth about the
death of their brother Adama, who died of a police arrest. Adding to contempt horror,
state authorities had openly lied about the circumstances of his disappearance and
continue to protect the guilty. The arrest of the Traoré brothers is a political arrest,
to intimidate the movement that denounces police exactions and impunity.
Read: "combine our forces," interview in the journal Ballast with Assa Traore, sister of
Adama, of Bagui and Youssouf. Since July 19, 2016, with her family and many anonymous
supporters, activists and artists, she is fighting for justice and truth, and denounces
the system of these "bribes" which in France have killed 445 people for 50 years.
France is assuming more and more its liberalistic authoritarianism: the Traoré brothers
must serve as an example, like Goodyear's trade unionists, as militants assigned to
residence ... The social order, based on permanent, racist, violent and anti-social
repression, Be preserved against those who defend themselves, who refuse, reject, and rebel.
We are at the side of the brothers Traoré, and all the other victims of the state
apparatus of repression. We are on the side of all those who demand justice and to whom
the judges offer prison. We are on the side of those who are removed from their families,
for the deforced in a moment of mourning.
Against unequal justice, we must fight! Bring to those who are beaten, gassed, locked up,
silenced, assigned, exiled, all the help they can claim. And never to forget that this
monstrous system exists only to protect the tranquility of the powerful and their
molosses, that the abolition of this system, the state and capitalism is the only form of
true justice that human beings can expect.
For the Traore family, let us continue the fight!

The anarchist arrested and Meydan newspaper editor, Umut Firat Suvariogullari, is
imprisoned for 23 years in Turkish prisons and on hunger strike in the T-type prison in
Yenisakran Izmir since December 13, 2016 , denouncing the emergency rule declared by the
Turkish state , And the dehumanizing conditions imposed by that State on political
prisoners. It is a jail in the prison, where visits are prohibited, prisoners have no
rights and submit to constant torture. ---- On 23 December 2016 the Constantinople court
sentenced Hüseyin Civan, the Meydan anarchist newspaper editor, a year and three months in
prison for having made "for terrorist propaganda." The head of the tax had ordered an
investigation against the newspaper in December 2015 , on the pretext of some articles
that had been published in volume 30, whose theme was "Prohibiting all".
The arrest of Hüseyin Civan and the imposition of inhumane conditions of detention on the
prisoners are part of the repressive campaign of the Turkish state, which in recent years
has manifested itself through military (war) operations in Kurdish territories, with mass
persecution and attacks Against resistance movements and revolutionary organizations. At
present this campaign has intensified, especially after the failed coup of July 2016 and
the extension (generalization) of the state of emergency.
Erdogan's regime, which accuses its political opponents of trying to overthrow it, on the
one hand uses the attempted coup d'état to wipe out its rivals in all state apparatuses
(army, judiciary, public sector), and On the other hand, they impose a war of totalitarian
character on the internal enemy in order to put an end to class and social resistance. At
the same time it triggers the attack of its followers and the gray wolves against
neighborhoods and places of the fighters and organizations of lefts and anarchists.
In this context, anarchists, communists, trade unionists, teachers, journalists, artists
and all those who somehow defy the all-powerful regime are prosecuted, persecuted,
tortured and imprisoned. In the same context, fundamental rights are violated,
concentrations and demonstrations are forbidden, the operation of radio stations and
television channels is suspended, web pages and internet access are censored, political
parties and organizations are called terrorist groups. Invasions in houses of fighters and
attacks against political and social spaces.
The aggressive form of the Turkish state can be outlined based on the location of the
country in the arena of antagonisms and geopolitical alliances, as well as in the
diachronic orientation of state and parastatal terrorism to the competitive and
revolutionary movements within it.
The rail network of control and repression that is spreading in all fields of social life
in the interior of the country complements the policy of this country in the Middle East
area, which, based on the chauvinism of the Turkish state, includes extermination
operations Kurdish communities, military interventions by the Turkish army in northern
Syria, and elsewhere, disaggregating alliances with the European Union, even with ISIS
itself, through NATO.
The agreement between the European Union and Turkey on the migration issue, which ranks
Turkey among the safest countries, while imprisoning thousands of refugees in
concentration camps in areas east and west of its borders, and effective The basis for the
consolidation of a totally totalitarian system in its interior is illustrative of what the
states and the bosses reserve for us in the near future, especially in a period of
intensification of antagonisms between sovereigns in this geographical area and throughout
the world.
As an Anarchist Political Organization we express our solidarity with the anarchist
comrades of the DAF (Revolutionary Action Anarchist) and the Meydan newspaper, as well as
with those who are fighting in Turkey against the totalitarianism of the State, keeping
alive the vision of a world of equality, solidarity And freedom.
The only hope of the oppressed in the face of state and capitalist barbarism and modern
totalitarianism is the connection between them to deal with the offensive they all
receive. Only with the flame of international struggles and resistances can the goal of a
free and fair society be achieved. From the neighboring Turkey to the rebellious Rojava,
from the poor neighborhoods of France to the struggles in Mexico, from the resistance of
the natives of North America to the great demonstrations against the US regime, no
oppressed is only as long as the struggle for freedom exists .
To take life into our hands, to build an emancipated society based on dignity, justice,
freedom and solidarity, on the debris of the world of Power, State and Capital, let us
make generalized social self-management a reality.
Freedom to the anarchist Hüseyin Civan, member of the DAF (Revolutionary Action Anarchist)
and editor of the anarchist newspaper Meydan.
Solidarity with Umut Firat, anarchist editor of the Meydan newspaper, arrested on a hunger
strike, and with all those who resist the world dictatorship of the State and Capital.
Resistance to war, indigence and modern totalitarianism. Organization and struggle for
world social revolution, anarchy and libertarian communism.
