This circus elephant was sold to an abusive family

This elephant's abusive owners plan to beat her into submission until she gives rides to tourists. She was born into the notorious Moonlight Circus where operators forced her to perform unnatural tricks before the company was barred from using animals as entertainment. Then she was sold to the Khan family, itself also known for abusing elephants like her. They still control her to this day. Suman has never known a normal, healthy, happy life. We must demand justice for her and bring an end to her terrible treatment! Three years ago, Suman's cruel new owners sent her to work on a TV show that treated animals so horrifically, animal rights activists had it shut down. Now, her fate is uncertain. All we know is that the Khan family plans to put her through a training process called "phajaan." Phajaan actually translates to "the crush," and it involves beating an animal into submission, so that its will to resist is broken. The Khan family hopes that after it crushes Suman, she'll be docile enough to let the public ride on her back.
