First, Their Owner Trained Them to Hunt. Then, He Let All Twelve of Them Fall Off a Cliff. Hound Hunting Must Be Banned!

Friends,
A hunter and his friend headed out to the woods in Spain with their dogs, intending to sic the animals on a helpless deer. After the dogs successfully found their target, they did as trained — they began to kill it, by tearing it to shreds. That might seem like the worst part of the story, but revoltingly, it actually gets worse.
The two men were filming the scene, so the whole gruesome event was caught on camera. As the men watched from the side, one dog lost its footing on a nearby cliff ledge and suddenly fell over the side. It clung desperately to the edge of the precipice with its front paws and tried to climb back up. The pup ultimately plummeted to its death. That's when the hunter's friend started screaming, "Run, your dogs are falling off the cliff!"
Most people would be alarmed if their beloved animals started falling to their death. But not this hunter. All that mattered to him was the kill. While his dogs start sliding off the cliff, he instead walked up to the deer and slit its throat. In less than one minute, all 12 dogs — and even the deer itself — fell over the cliff.
This isn't about humanity's survival against the elements. This isn't about strength or masculinity. What these hunters did to these animals was sickening, cruel, and wholly unnecessary. It's also fairly typical of hunting with dogs. That's why the practice has been banned in much of Europe, including Germany and the majority of the UK.
But Spain has yet to ban this gruesome "sport." It's time for the Spanish government to ban hound hunting. Sign the petition to demand they take action now!
Thank you for all that you do,
P.S. Thirteen animals lost their lives because two hunters cared more about "sport" than their own dogs' well-being. Hound hunting is heinous and needs to end now! Please sign the petition demanding that Spain ban this brutal, bloody practice!
