In a story that will make your stomach turn, we'll tell you the tale of a cat who is truly lucky to be alive. The black cat, who is now down to just eight of its nine lives, was found with an arrow protruding out of its cheek in Glenfield, Leicestershire, in the United Kingdom.
Some caveperson thought it would be fun to use the kitty, now named Robin Hood, as target practice and deliberately shot him with a crossbow.
Luckily, Robin Hood's injuries weren't fatal. The arrow went into his shoulder and but missed his vital organs. The weapon finally came to rest with the tip coming out of his face. Rescuers were able to remove the arrow and now Robin Hood is recovering.
But now, authorities have a responsibility to search for the lowlife that committed this heinous act of animal cruelty. They need to be found, arrested and tried for what they did. Robin Hood was lucky, but as long as this person is on the streets, cats, dogs and perhaps even people are in danger.
