Five thousand dockworkers at the important port of Santos will be voting to strike on Monday 23rd March to stop work because of the fear of
the spread of coronavirus. Managers at the the port have been allowed to quarantine whilst dockers have been ordered to continue working.
---- In Iran 3,500 iron ore miners in the south east province of Kerman have gone out on strike for the same reasons, with senior managers
being allowed to self-quarantine. ---- In the United States 1,000 car workers went out on strike at the Fiat Chrysler plant in Detroit. They
were expected to be at the factory, even though other workers had been sent home because of risk of infection. The virus lives longest on
steel, and workers have not been provided with sanitisers, with no washrooms on the site.

This followed similar wildcat strikes for the same reason in the car industry throughout Michigan and Ohio.

The timing of the Spring Congress of the Anarchist Federation (AF) proved almost prophetic. Reports of cases of coronavirus in Italy have
not yet made it clear on the second weekend of March that a few days later we will have to reduce our personal contact so radically. ----
This time we met in Hradec Kralove and the one who arrived already on Friday 6th March could attend a benefit concert in the club Ctyrka in
Hradec Králové, whose proceeds went to political prisoners in the network case. The original intention was to celebrate the forthcoming
International Women's Day with this cultural event, but the current situation of repression against anarchists in Russia has changed our
decision. There was also a distro with publications from our publishing house and definitely a great atmosphere.

It is said to be "first work, then fun", but what kind of anarchists would it be if we did not turn the established sayings upside down.

After the fun to work - the downhill day was Saturday. The facilities were greatly taken care of and the delicacies for refreshments of
participants were not spared. All honor mixed kitchen section. The program of the Congress did not change in comparison with the previous
ones, but in order to connect the old with the new one, we accepted a few new members into our ranks right away. The reports from the
regions reported on the events in which we are active, whether they were activities under the umbrella of a federation or those in which
individual members engage in other collectives. We traveled through Prague, Eastern Bohemia, Pilsen, Brno, Ostrava and Olomouc in two hours
and discussed how the distribution of publications by the AF publishing house, squatting activities, benefit and support events, Food not
Bombs, distribution of the A3 wall paper works., distribution of Zapatista coffee, cooperation with other groups, organizations and
premises... We talked about commemorative events of Honza Kucera, anti-fascism, activities for climate justice or support of self-government
in Rojava...

After discussing the activities needed to run and delegate the Federation, we focused on our virtual presentation through websites and
several social networks to move on to the AF Publishing House's plans, which are not very modest. But we will not reveal anything yet. Be
surprised at the anarchist bookfair - and it may not be just this year in Prague. We confirmed the theme of the next issue of the Anarchist
Review of Existence , which will focus on the struggle for climate justice and its various approaches, and we have divided the related
tasks. The downhill day was short but fertile. Unfortunately, we have not come to a more general debate on various topics.

Not many days have passed and the situation in which we find ourselves is quite different from the one in which we discussed our intentions.
But this is not a thing that should stop us in our efforts and efforts. We have ways to communicate with each other, as well as a number of
challenges and ideas ahead.
