was the attempt to investigate the practice of abortion both on a historical and
social level, approaching it from its beginnings until today, focusing on the
Greek example. In other words, we wanted to investigate the way and the contexts
around which abortions were carried out in the past, but also in the present; to
see if and in what way women's access to abortions is limited, as well as the
content and characteristics that the discourse received opposition to them and
its relationship with demographic rhetoric. That is, to see to what extent the
subjects themselves had (or not) the possibility of controlling their
reproduction, and to what extent it determined them in each condition. The
publication consists of a text and two interviews, accompanied by an
international coverage of the issue. For the writing of the text we consulted
books, magazines and publications, official researches and newspapers and looked
for our own experiences as well as those of our girlfriends and grandmothers. In
addition, we came into contact with comrades, but also workers in the health
field (and not only), whom we thank for the information and help they provided us."
