It was not easy to organize an event with international participation and
completely new outputs (presentation, exhibition), but our impressions are mostlypositive. To a large extent, this is because discussions and planning in openmeetings have involved other people in the preparations. ---- Promotion in thestreets and on the Internet, interpretation, moderation, graphic and physicalpreparation of the exhibition and posters, decoration of the premises,accommodation for delegations, production of badges, vegan goodies - most ofthese things were provided by people outside our union. It was great to see suchself-initiative and mutual help. We thank you!Although we know quite a lot about the history and present of MAP, thediscussions were enriching, which was also helped by interesting questions fromthe audience. Our thanks go to the delegations from Austria, Poland, Ireland andthe United Kingdom who spoke, for example, about how they came to the ideas ofanarcho-syndicalism and why they make practical sense in their lives. The topicof membership and the strengths and weaknesses of individual unions werediscussed, as well as the changes that have occurred in MAP in recent years, butalso the situation of women and organizing with migrant workers.We have a similar program planned for April 1 in Košice (FB event).
