48 years since that disastrous coup that resulted in the disappearance
of 30,400 companions. Through a systematic and sinister plan that
included the theft of babies, murders, rapes, clandestine detention
centers, torture and other atrocities. ---- It was a genocidal policy
that Yankee imperialism implemented in Latin America through the Condor
plan to keep its backyard quiet. This plan consisted of promoting
military dictatorships that would attack with blood and fire against the
social and political organizations that had managed to become advanced
instruments, raising revolutionary programs and putting the interests of
the State and concentrated economic power on the ropes. This systematic
plan of extermination of people and state terrorism had as its
background the imposition of the neoliberal economic model, which sought
to destroy the national industry, provide cheap labor to large employers
and tie the country's economy to the interests of the foreign capitals.
Nowadays, many sectors yearn with great nostalgia for the times of State
terrorism, starting with Milei's own national government, which
vindicates and apologizes for crimes against humanity. Without going any
further, the figure of Vice President Victoria Villarruel, daughter of
the military caste, who for years has accompanied and defended genocides
by organizing visits to prisons. Others nostalgic for State terrorism
are the business sectors that support Milei, who were part of the
dictatorship and who now benefit from its policies of adjustment and
looting. Continuing with the list, former President Macri, now
incorporated into freedom, is advancing, also from a business family
that knew how to benefit from the dictatorship, influencers and tweeters
endorsed by Milei himself who continue vociferating denialist and
reactionary positions in the media, expressing that rights Humans are "a
job." This is just to cite a few examples.
The intentions of this government are not only to deny the genocide
committed against an entire generation, casting doubt on the 30,400
detainees who disappeared, but also to pardon genocidal perpetrators
and, above all, to harass the human rights movement to try to neutralize
its militancy.
A few days ago we had news of a disastrous and aberrant event in this
sense. The attack on the fellow HIJOS militant by a gang who, after
entering her house, tying her up and sexually abusing her, signed her
attack with the acronym "Long live freedom damn", a phrase with which
the sector that follows cynically identifies itself to Javier Milei.
This attack is the responsibility of the government and is politically
directed by La Libertad Avanza. At the same time, it also seeks to be a
harassing and disciplinary event for all organizations and social
movements that fight for human rights. We repudiate this attack with all
our strength, we stand in solidarity with the comrades of the historic
organization HIJOS and above all we call to respond to these
intimidations by deepening the organization, militancy in every social
space in which we are, massive mobilization in the streets and action
direct as a method of fighting.
In this context, this March 24 acquires particular relevance in the face
of a government that defends kidnappings, torture, murders,
disappearances, the appropriations of babies, among other atrocities
perpetrated by the civic-ecclesiastical-military dictatorship because
its model economic, political and social needs brutal repression to
implement the most inhuman and stark capitalism for the oppressed
classes. This government is not even remotely "libertarian" as they call
themselves. They are capitalist, ultraliberal, reactionary and
authoritarian with openly fascist elements. The true Libertarians are
our companions, those detained and disappeared by the military, for
fighting for the end of oppression and for socialism in freedom.
We are going through a new anniversary of the genocidal coup in the
midst of the worst attack on the living conditions of those below in
decades. The Milei government liquefied salaries and incomes
resoundingly by liberalizing the prices of food, inputs and services,
generating an inflationary stampede of more than 250% year-on-year to
which is added the devaluation of more than 100% and the brutal
adjustment in the public sector. All this without lowering a single tax,
without raising almost any salary above the basic basket, or taking any
measure to alleviate the situation of misery in which the popular
sectors are mired.
While the prices of food and basic services increase relentlessly,
salaries, on the contrary, are constantly devalued, poverty and misery
increases, more and more people do not have access to decent housing,
health and education, precarious work and Formal work does not even
cover the basic needs of workers, of the oppressed classes. We live in a
cycle of crisis and attack on those below that has been going on for
many years, but since this government took office we have been the
subject of an ultraliberal shock experiment, typical of the most savage
and inhuman capitalism, like never before a government that takes office
after winning elections. had dared to implement.
For the government's economic program to be effectively imposed, Milei
and his henchmen need an equally profound repressive advance. The
repressive apparatus of the state continues to murder and disappear
people even 48 years after the dictatorship. One hundred and four days
into Milei's administration, more than 50 cases of easy triggering have
been reported, fueled by an empowerment of the repressive actions of the
forces, with the Chocobar doctrine, and the green light for the
mobilization of the armed forces and gendarmerie in the city of Rosario
to apply the same policies that failed in our Latin America in the "War
against drug trafficking", that enemy that serves as a scapegoat for the
advance of the repressive forces of the state, while they continue to
claim the lives of young people and workers. of the popular sectors.
Bullrich's repressive protocol that has already been applied in the
mobilizations of different sectors, along with the imprisonment of
social activists in different parts of the country, is another example
of the Milei government's intentions.
This context further reinforces the need to organize ourselves in all
social spaces where resistance is expressed to the advance of adjustment
from those above, such as our unions, places of study, neighborhoods and
territories. If we must recover one lesson from the experience of
struggle of our 30,400 detained and disappeared comrades, it is that in
the face of such an offensive from those above, the militant task must
not fall into immobility or paralyzing fear, but must redouble efforts,
aim to be better organized in the social spheres, aiming for the maximum
possible unity of action of the different popular organizations, and
redoubling the commitment and responsibility in the struggles of our
people, are the pillars from which we can anchor ourselves to fight.

ANARCHIST RESISTANCE TO THE MILITARY DICTATORSHIP
The history of our current is very rich in experiences of struggle and
resistance, despite the attempts of those at the top and other sectors
to make invisible the struggles of our comrades on the map, because they
make them uncomfortable, because it is a completely the antipodes of
this system of domination. A new generation of organized anarchist
militancy emerged during the 1960s and 1970s and rooted its political
proposal in processes of mobilization and organization driven from
within the people.
The seventies found anarchism in Córdoba building on different social
fronts. On the one hand, the group of militants based in the
neighborhood of Colonia Lola, with a strong territorial militancy in the
neighborhood, which had among its milestones the recovery of the
neighborhood center in the hands of the Peronist bureaucracy, recovery
of the health center and the development of the Libertad school. Among
this group of militants there was also strong participation in the
experience of the Total Workshop at the UNC Faculty of Architecture
between 1970 and 1973. It was an important process between teachers and
students of occupation and assembly that managed to overthrow the
management of the Faculty and convert it in an experience of horizontal
organization, modifying its study plans to fully involve itself in the
social and territorial problems of those below, making the people
participate in the work of the Faculty and at the disposal of their
needs. Without a doubt, this experience marks an exemplary milestone for
the development of student struggles, taking the production of knowledge
into the hands of those below.
Also in our province there was a strong presence of anarchist comrades
in the labor movement that was at that time at the apex of massiveness
and combativeness. There were anarchist comrades who participated
tenaciously in the Metallurgical Workers Union, the Union of Educators
of the Province of Córdoba, with a greater presence in the historic
union of Luz y Fuerza, which in the late 1960s and early 1970s played a
very important role in the Coordination Table of Guilds in Struggle to
put an end to the Onganía dictatorship and resist the attacks of the
different governments. Along these same lines there were anarchist
militants active in the Automotive Transport Mechanics Union.
Our colleagues had a very important development in the experience of
creating the Rubber and Related Workers' Union, a body created as a tool
for the workers of the sector to fight against the immobility and
bureaucratization of the pro-employer federation of FOCAYA. . This union
carried out fights of great intensity in participation and direct action
against the employers. There was also a strong anarchist presence among
FIAT workers grouped in the ConCord Workers Union (Sitrac) and the
MaterFer Workers Union (Sitram). All of these comrades were of course
deeply involved with the most heroic deeds of the time given by the
glorious Córdoba labor movement of the time, such as the Cordobazo of
1969 that dealt a death blow to the Onganía dictatorship and the
Viborazo of 1971 that fired the provincial controller who had arrived
under Levingston's order to cut off the head of "the communist viper." A
sector of these union militant comrades were united in the so-called
Anarchist Organization. It is worth highlighting the contact and link
between the Córdoba militants and the Libertarian Resistance political
organization.
Libertarian Resistance was an experience of Anarchist political
organization that had its social actions mainly in the union sphere, but
also in the student movement. Initially based in the cities of La Plata
and Buenos Aires, with a strong presence in Astilleros Río Santiago and
Ensenada, Judicial, Textiles and Plumbers. The experience of Libertarian
Resistance is central to the conception of Anarchist Political
Organization as a tool to participate in the different social fronts
with the oppressed classes, from within, breaking with the avant-garde
conception of other leftist currents, but rather functioning as a motor
from within of the social space. Reaching a high level of development,
having a press apparatus, in the same way as the Anarchist Organization
in Córdoba, and development of an armed structure as a means of
self-defense and a way of carrying out expropriations to finance their
actions. Comrades from Libertarian Resistance later came to Córdoba to
support the development of SITRACAAF and the coordination of Guilds in
Struggle in direct link with the Anarchist Organization. It is worth
mentioning here Esther Biscayart de Tello, a Libertarian Resistance
activist who would later be one of the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo, an
emblematic organization of the fight for human rights worldwide. After a
tireless fight for the appearance of her children, also members of
Resistencia Libertaria and all the missing people.
The rich history of the specific movement also had its chapter in
Argentine history and particularly in the fight against the
dictatorship. The sister organization and founder of our current, the
Uruguayan Anarchist Federation, had a tactical withdrawal from
Montevideo to Buenos Aires in the 1970s to reorganize the resistance to
the dictatorship that had been installed since 1973 in their country.
These comrades came from very important militancy in different union
circles, such as the Graphics union, Canillitas, the Refrigeration
Industry (FOICA), Tires (FUNSA), a bastion of combative unionism in
Uruguay, among others. All of them promoters of the creation of the
National Confederation of Workers of Uruguay. Among these comrades from
the FAU were militants from the social organizations Resistencia Obrero
Estudiantentil (ROE) and the Cerro-Teja column who developed territorial
militancy in these working-class neighborhoods of Montevideo. The FAU at
the time also developed its armed tool, the OPR-33. Already in Argentina
they act in close connection with Resistencia Libertaria, and travel an
intense path of struggle due to the affinity in the political approach,
the proposed horizons, the methodology, the strategy, the tenacious
militancy in social spaces with all the The brothers of the oppressed
classes and the need for anarchist political organization.
State terrorism through its most dastardly methods tried to discipline
the working people, the students and those who were committed to
building a more egalitarian society, however our companions, social
fighters who fell facing the dictatorship transcended to history, to the
collective memory of those who do not give up and live within the daily
popular struggles that those of us from below wage against this
oppressive, unjust and savage system. Therefore, recovering the
historical memory of that process, of the fallen comrades, makes our
militant task today, not only for the vindication of our past, but for
the disputes and struggles that are taking place in the present. We
cannot lose sight of the fact that their fight is still unfinished, that
their fight was for a social revolution, to build a libertarian
socialist society, without hunger and misery for the people, an
objective that still motivates us and guides us in our daily work.
The experience of anarchist militancy in the seventies, and of the
general resistance to the reactionary advance, should be lessons for the
struggles of the present.
We remember the missing anarchist comrades, especially those anarchist
union militants and the territorial experience in Colonia Lola (Córdoba)
and those who belonged to RL (Libertarian Resistance) and FAU (Uruguayan
Anarchist Federation), comrades who gave their best to put anarchism at
the service of social struggles and the construction of Libertarian
Socialism. From the anarchist organization of Córdoba we know that the
best tribute is to continue their fight.
