WORLD WORLDWIDE BRAZIL MEXICO AND COLOMBIA - All Out - Saving LGBT+ lives - LGBTQIA Homosexualité GAY - Online news journal UPDATE.

Dear friends

Across the world, grassroots organizations are fighting every day to save lives and to create places where LGBT+ people can find safety and refuge.

Working with these groups is a crucial part of All Out's mission. It's one of the ways in which we're growing a truly global movement of solidarity.

I want to tell you about three of our partner organizations in Mexico, Colombia, and Brazil that are doing urgent work on the ground to support the LGBT+ people in their communities who need it the most. You can make a donation today to one or more of them – and 100% of your gift will go directly to fund their work! Plus, All Out will match your donation with an additional gift of the same amount.

Casa Frida is a shelter that was founded a little over three years ago in Mexico City, due to the growing need for a safe haven for LGBT+ people fleeing discrimination and violence in their home countries. They've opened a new headquarters in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon – in response to the overwhelming demand from refugees and asylum seekers for services in the region. They need your help to provide emergency food assistance to the vulnerable LGBT+ people they serve, in addition to shelter, legal support, psychosocial and medical assistance, and more.

Sergio Urrego Foundation created Colombia's only LGBT+ inclusive suicide prevention hotline. Responding to a surge in discrimination, cyberbullying, and suicidal ideation, this hotline has become an essential resource that offers young LGBT+ people a safe place to talk about their experiences. But they are running out of funds and may need to shut this life-saving project down. Donate to their "Guardians of Life" fundraiser to help ensure that this work can continue.

Since 2011, Casa Marielle Franco has provided a safe house in Salvador, Brazil, where LGBT+ people and women in dangerous situations can find shelter. But when heavy rains hit the region at the beginning of the year, the shelter's roof collapsed and urgent repairs are needed for this refuge to survive. Chip in to help fix the roof so Casa Marielle Franco can once again provide a safe home for those who need it most.

By giving your financial support to organizations like these, you can make a direct and very tangible difference in the lives of the LGBT+ people they serve. Please make a donation to one of All Out’s grassroots partners!
