WORLD WORLDWIDE INTERNATIONALE - attitude Magazine - LGBTQIA Homosexualité GAY - PEUGEOT named as new headline partner of the eighth annual Attitude Pride Awards
PEUGEOT NAMED AS NEW HEADLINE PARTNER OF THE EIGHTH ANNUAL ATTITUDE PRIDE AWARDS
The PEUGEOT Attitude Pride Awards 2024, honouring the unsung heroes of Europe’s LGBTQ+ community, will take place at the new Raffles London Hotel on Wednesday 26 June
Attitude’s Pride Awards returns, celebrating everyday LGBTQ+ heroes and community trailblazers, for its eighth year this summer with a brand-new headline partnership with automotive brand PEUGEOT and an all-new host venue: Raffles London.
The PEUGEOT Attitude Pride Awards turns the traditional awards show format on its head – celebrity guests are more often the presenters rather than honorees – and 10 inspirational winners are drawn from across Europe, where they’ve served tirelessly in the third sector, triumphed over adversity or proven themselves outstanding community role models.
GRAHAM NORTON, BIMINI, MUNROE BERGDORF, AND MORE REMEMBER THEIR FIRST ATTITUDE
Senior writer Alastair James chats to friends of Attitude about their first memories of the magazine and what it meant to them
It was summer 2015. I’d graduated from the University of Leicester the year before and had entered the real world not really knowing what to do with a BA in Contemporary History. I had always been somewhat interested in journalism but had never seriously considered it. But after a miserable time in retail, I ventured into BBC Bristol and eventually volunteered for four months with their political editor. It was exciting. I applied and was accepted to study a postgraduate diploma in broadcast journalism at the renowned School of Journalism, Media, and Culture (JOMEC) at Cardiff University.
