self-help associations. support for trans people invited to a rally for
a trans counter-offensive followed by a general assembly whose objective
was to locally structure the fight against these transphobic laws. 1000
people were present at the rally. This is the biggest event specific to
trans struggles that the city has ever known! The atmosphere there was
combative and dynamic, there were many young people. To add to the large
number of people present, another victory of this gathering can be found
in all the left forces present.

A gathering of the entire left
Indeed, from independents to political parties, including associations,
almost all of Grenoble's left-wing forces were present. However, we
regret a weak union appearance, Solidaires 38 not being there. The CGT,
for its part, was present through its young group. This was followed by
a General Assembly open to all. The objective of this meeting was to
equip ourselves collectively to act against transphobic disinformation
and at the same time to structure this fight around the creation of an
organizational framework.

What intervention for libertarian communists?
There are disagreements within the AG regarding the mode of organization
to adopt for this framework. Young people without activist experience
may be attracted by autonomous strategies, that is to say carrying out
minority actions in affinity groups. We have pushed further towards the
broadest possible unitary lines, while ensuring that trans people play
their central role in the coming struggle: to win, we will need to be
numerous! We are also pushing the general assembly to structure itself
politically. We will see in the future in what form it wishes to
organize itself. An inter-orga? A new collective? We're following this
closely! At the federal level, comrades from the anti-patriarchy
commission were mandated to participate in the construction of the
national inter-organization framework to call for mobilization on a
broad basis.

If tensions exist within it because of strategic differences between
organizations and associations, we continue to think that it is the most
relevant: it is urgent to ally ourselves against the transphobic threat.
