Dear friends,
We are reaching out to you on behalf of the Shoshanguve Animal Shelter in South Africa, a dedicated non-profit organization working tirelessly to provide care and protection to animals in need. As winter approaches, the challenges faced by our shelter grow, and we are in urgent need of your support to ensure the well-being of our furry friends.

372 rescued, 344 sterilized, 1603 vaccinated, 89 rehomed and feeding 4,910 dogs more.

In 2023 alone, Shoshanguve Animal Shelter achieved remarkable milestones: rescuing 372 dogs, rehoming 89 dogs, feeding 4,910 dogs, and sterilizing 344 dogs. Additionally, 1,603 dogs were vaccinated and dewormed, 107 cats were rescued and rehomed, 22 public talks were held, 180 children participated in our programs, and 12,500 meals were provided to dogs and cats.

Your contributions will help us provide warmth and comfort to the animals during the colder months. We urgently need dog blankets, jerseys, food (both wet and dry), and infrared heat lamps with electrical connections. These items are essential to keep our animals safe and warm.

Recently, Shoshanguve Animal Shelter have built new kennels to offer a safe and comfortable home for our beloved dogs. However, to protect them from the harsh sun and cold, we urgently need netting shades to cover the kennels. These shades will provide essential protection and maintain a comfortable temperature for our furry friends throughout the year.
