Dear friends,

As I write this, 124 desperate cats are stranded and scrambling for survival on the frontlines of the Ukrainian war.

Our partner, Animal Rescue Kharkiv (ARK), is ready to launch rescue missions IMMEDIATELY, just as soon as its broken vehicles can be fixed.

All five vehicles used to race to the rescue of animal victims in need are completely out of commission.

The war has taken a major toll on all five of ARK’s rescue vehicles. War zone roads are wrecked; two of the vehicles are badly damaged from direct attacks and punctured with bullet holes.

If we can raise $6,600 (£5,000), we can get three damaged animal rescue vehicles back on the road within DAYS, empowering our team to launch crucial rescue missions to the frontlines.

Please help us save over one hundred cats from certain death in war-torn Ukraine!

Russian advances are destroying peaceful communities in the Donbas, forcing families to flee for their lives and leaving hundreds of animals to fend for themselves amid air strikes and bomb blasts. Time is running out – we MUST repair the vehicles and launch rescue missions as soon as possible if the animals are to have any chance of survival.

ARK has already rescued 230 cats since the war broke out. Now, we are faced with 124 more animals in desperate need. These animals were once beloved pets and have had their lives turned upside down by this terrible war. Please help us reach them in time and give them a second chance at safety, love and comfort.

Our team risks life and limb every single day to save animals.

We are not sure if we can afford to repair the bullet holes.

When one vehicle came under fire from a drone in Vovchansk, two rescuers were injured, one suffering a contusion, the other a ruptured eardrum. When another vehicle came under fire in the same area, the windows shattered and debris embedded itself in the metal, injuring one of the rescuers.

We salute our team’s bravery and their love for cats, and are dedicated to supporting them in any way we can. Today, that means repairing their vehicles so they can continue rescuing animals in the heart of the war zone.

Time and again, animals are the forgotten victims in times of war, but we are ALWAYS there for them, and we hope we can count on you to help us save even more lives. Will you be a hero for 124 vulnerable cats in Ukraine?

The quicker we can get our rescue vehicles back on the road, the more cats we can save!

ARK has converted a Kharkiv bomb shelter into a haven for rescued cats, providing them with as much care and comfort as possible amidst the surrounding chaos. But as the war intensifies, and more areas fall to the Russian forces, the number of animals in need increases each day. Please help us get their vehicles fixed and back in action as soon as possible.

As animal-lovers, we cannot stand idly by when we have the power to rescue 124 cats from certain death in Ukraine! With your help, we CAN and WILL save them.
