Today, MEPs will hold a debate on the bloc’s migration policy, likely focusing on Ursula von der Leyen’s plans to review the legal definition of a “safe third country” to facilitate the establishment of migrant processing hubs outside the EU, as well as the potential revision of the returns directive.
