Dear Friends,
Houssein Hamze was ordered to evacuate from Nabatieh in Lebanon as the Israeli Defence Force was about to bomb the city. But Houssein is a dedicated animal-lover and he refused to leave the 60 cats he cared for at his home and the 200 dogs at his Mashala Shelter.
But recently, the unthinkable happened – his home was reduced to rubble, leaving all the cats dead, injured or missing and his animal rescue vehicle destroyed. Without his van, he has no way to get to his shelter, where the dogs are desperately waiting for food, water and care. |
